New Lakefront Cottage Rental

We welcome you to a relaxing Michigan Lake Cottage Getaway. Lakeside fun in the summer. Cozy retreat in the winter.
Live the Lake Life to its fullest here at Nevins Lake. Step out the back of the cottage to enjoy 50 ft of private water frontage with a dock. Enjoy the breeze coming off the lake as you sit on the screened-in porch overlooking the lake.
Sleeps 6 comfortably. Upstairs and downstairs bathrooms with shower. Dishwasher. Newly installed Central Air. High-speed internet and Smart TV. Fully equipped kitchen.

Renter Agreement must be signed after booking. Stays 10 days and greater are subject to mid-stay clean of $35 added additionally.
*Pontoon rental available from local rental company. Ask for details.

PETS *Well behaved pets are allowed for a fee of $25 per day, amount of pets allowed is in the property listing. -----Dog cannot have a bite history due to liability.
-Guests are expected to clean up after their pets, bring baggies.
-Do not allow pets on furniture and beds.
-Do not use throw blankets or guest towels for dogs.
-Dogs should be leashed if they are not by your side when outdoors.
-DO NOT LET YOUR PETS IN NEIGHBORS YARDS.
-Please be respectful of the neighbors yards and their wellbeing since your pets do not know them.
-If you need to leave your pet behind in the cottage, you may do so as long as they are in a crate and do not bark constantly while you're gone.
-No bathing pets in tub/shower or outside shower if present. Use outdoor hose if needed (summer only).
*You must communicate with Host regarding any PETS before booking.
-If you plan to break the pet rule about animals in the beds, please bring your own bedding, sheets, pillow cases and comforter. (Or simply bring a throw cover if you think your pet will hangout on top of the bed.)
-If you break the PET RULE for PETS ON BEDS and there is pet hair in linens, you will be charged for the replacement fee for the bedding of $125

Beautiful Home Away From Home
The house was warm and inviting from the moment we walked in the door. The rooms were comfortable and the views out of the windows were breathtaking. Our hostess was quick to respond to any questions we had. If we are in the area again we would love to be able to stay in this home if it's available.

Lake Paradise!!
We had an adult girls trip and the listing looked good. The minute you open the door and see the water you instantly feel relaxed. This house is decorated beautifully. The bathrooms have high end soap and lotion. All the towels and washcloths were excellent! The kitchen has everything you need!! The paddle boat was fun. The Lake is so peaceful. We ate dinner in the screened in porch. The neighborhood is quiet. The beds are very comfortable. The couches are very cozy! This was one of the best trips ever!!

This house was perfect for our family trip! The location was great - steps to the lake - and the house seems to have been recently updated. Nice decor and appliances, washer/dryer was really nice to have, as well as the kayaks, games and more. We used the screened-in porch a lot. Excellent communication with owner, they were very responsive.

Relaxation at the Lake
The Rojean Retreat was the perfect setting for my wife and me to celebrate her birthday and our 55th wedding anniversary in a very relaxing atmosphere for us to just "veg out" at the lake! The house was exceptionally clean and the bathrooms appeared recently remodeled and impeccably clean with all the usual amenities and more, and the same for the kitchen. Also, we were pleasantly surprised to find out when we arrived that central air conditioning had just been installed! We spent the majority of our time on the lovely screened in porch less than 15 feet from the water's edge, equipped with a large screen TV (which we never used - much more interested in watching the lake!), comfortable porch furniture, and a ceiling fan that made those couple of sultry days very comfortable. When not on the porch, we enjoyed ourselves at the dining room table with a wonderful panoramic view of the lake. And did I mention the home was very clean!! We were very fortunate to meet Jennifer when we arrived a bit early. She is delightful and responsive, and totally respected our privacy throughout our stay. All in all, it was a wonderful trip for us, and we would definitely return if the opportunity again arises!

GREAT rental
The lake view/access was outstanding. This is one of the best stocked rentals that I have ever stayed at, everything we needed was available. Communication was very good, with quick replies and an occasional check-in on how things were going. We would definitely stay here again.

Labor Day Get away
This property was perfect for our last minute Labor Day get away. We appreciated the attention to detail, the amenities that were included, and the communication from the property manager Jennifer. All together a wonderful stay!

Vacation 2023
Over all the house is great for a family with teens. Having 4 of us over 60 was challenging with narrow stair case musty basement where we slept and uneven deck surfaces. Step up shower with open ceiling exposing electrical junction boxes. A bit nevering. On the last night we finally located chairs we could use around the bonfire. Fun times on the kayaks. Great neighbors and very peaceful Watched outside by annoying cameras lol.
