About the host
Your host
Liz and Nate Green bought Starlight Canyon Bed & Breakfast in Amarillo Texas in February 2013. Liz is from Canyon Texas, not far from Starlight. She also studied hospitality at Texas Tech her major being Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional Management. After college she moved to the resort community of Keystone Colorado to work and gain experience. This is where she met Nate who was working for the resort as a mechanic while also working in a couple local restaurants. Their combined experience spans nearly 50 years.

During a fateful visit to Liz’s parents Liz and Nate had a chance to tour Starlight Canyon Bed & Breakfast. It was love at first sight, or instant connection. The couple had been living in Colorado d

Starlight Canyon Bed & Breakfast in Amarillo Texas stands out because of the unique beauty of the Palo Duro Canyon. Being located just upstream a bit from the beautiful Palo Duro Canyon State Park Starlight Canyon shares the same level of wildlife and bird watching as the state park. Folks traveling through Amarillo from big cities in Texas to destinations in New Mexico or Colorado find Starlight Canyon to be an amazing place to stop over and rest along the way. All four of our cabins have their own private hot tub. The cabins are separated and all have their own private entrance as well.Our property is gated and guests will receive a gate code to enter the property which gives folks great piece of mind.
