What a lovely place, this essence of a jewel within a jewel is. An endearing spot to put your feet up and enjoy your quiet morning coffee accompanied by birdsong as the sunrise makes its way in. In the afternoon, one could be enchanted to just sit a spell in the filtered shade of the oak trees that surround the property and if the filter does quite do it, just make your way to the relaxing and sufficiently appointed screened-in porch with a lovely ceiling fan overhead to pick up the flow. With your favorite book and a Mississippi sweet tea, enjoy the gentle breezes that filter up from the gulf a few blocks down the majestic road, an easy stroll to the beautiful water that rides into the bay. The upstairs porch with ample rockers is just where you want to be to take in the saunter of quiet traffic through the neighborhood, some in baby strollers, some on bikes, others walking, and of course, the occasional symphony of cars gliding through. The Patio beneath is inviting for TV watching or playing games or relaxing in the hammock, and bikes are available for your use. The home itself is well outfitted with just about anything you could need. Well equipped, very clean, and nicely attired. The beds were restful. There was plenty of space, and the seating was also comfortable.
Instant Hot water Great! I really don't have any complaints. But open constructive analysis. The washer and dryer are loud and both off-balance, making them even louder. The deck underneath could use more attention to cleaning, as well the railings and bikes are a little rusty. I would have enjoyed using the Sonos system if it was connected, but it wasn't a big deal. And one thing in particular, Mr. Manieri was lovely and a wonderful and attentive host; he was great. But, I do wish there was contactless check-in; it's just more seamless and more sanitary. I had explained that my husband was fraile, so his southern hospitality, though well-intentioned by walking through the home unmasked, delayed significantly my husband's ability to enter the home as we had to then extend the time ventilating and disinfecting before he could enter or even remove his and our masks. I'm sure he just forgot. But, it's one thing that really should be considered as an option for those who need it. We enjoy hospitality for sure, but health is paramount. Thankfully we all are just fine. You really can't appreciate the house if you don't understand the feeling that accompanies it! The entire area ❤
