About this property

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly home on the lake. Direct lake front gives you fabulous views from the wrap around deck, and access to all kinds of fun. A beautifully updated interior with fantastic kitchen, brand new appliances, and a granite breakfast bar! Open floor plan living area with glass walls on the lakeside makes for an incredible vacation experience. Canoeing, kayaking , and fishing all day, going to great local restaurants at night. What could be better?!

A beautifully decorated and updated vacation home right on the Alburgh Passage on Lake Champlain.

Guests have access to the whole property, including the floating dock on the lagoon side. Does not include garage, sorry.

I am available most of the time. I live right down the road!

Quiet, private road. Literally no traffic other than your immediate neighbors. Very little interaction with anyone if you don’t want to.

Parking for two car right in front of the garage. Cars, bikes, boats, you name it.
We ask that primary renter be 24 year old minimum. 2 dog maximum, $50 per pet, per stay.

Relaxing Getaway!

Beautiful setting. We enjoyed the deck and appreciated use of the kayaks and canoe. Kitchen/ dining/ living room area offered a panoramic view of the lake and the full harvest moon rising over the water was a wonderful bonus!

Most Relaxing Vacation Ever

This property was everything that was listed, plus some. One of the most peaceful vacations that we have had in a long time. Waking up to beautiful sunrises. Kayaking on the lake. Relaxing around a nice fire in the fire pit at the end of the day, etc. The lake house was so charming with its decor and had everything that we could have needed. We will be coming back again!!

Sisters’ VK at Tavi Haz

The minute my family and I entered Tavi Haz, any travel related stress plummeted as we stared out at Lake Champlain. The wrap around porch has ample seating and enough tables so everyone could enjoy their coffee, wine, or even meals on the deck. We had the sensation of being right on the water. It’s pretty cool to watch ospreys hunt for fish in front of you. This house couldn’t be any closer to the lake! The home itself is very comfortable and well appointed. The main floor is open and expansive with lots of chairs and sofas, so we could all be together without having to be on top of one another. On a couple of cooler evenings, I stretched out on one of the sofas and read my book in front of the gas fireplace. Heaven! We also took advantage of the many thermal heat pumps on the warmer days. The kitchen appliances are brand new, as are the countertops and island. Keurigs and pods are provided, along with an assortment of teas. The cabinets are chock full of spices and condiments. The dining room table seats eight comfortably - which, of course, looks out on the water. All of us slept through the night. This is pretty much unheard of in our age bracket (I’m the baby at 64). The beds were so comfortable! Downstairs is the tv room. Once again, lots of seating and plush throws. Charles and Merrilyn (our hosts) answered our texts and questions within minutes. They were so accommodating. This is one of the best vacation rentals I have stayed at.

Most Relaxing beautiful stay

We had an amazing stay. Everything was very clean and there was every amenity you could want. The open concept and lake views were incredible. The place was so relaxing and truly an unforgettable Christmas vacation. Would love to go back.

Awesome Lake Getaway

The house is exactly as described. The location on the lake was perfect and the view is amazing. My family had a great time fishing and relaxing out back.

They thought of everything

The owners supplied everything we needed including coffee pods, all types of sugar, all linens including beach towels, washing machine soap and drier sheets, band aids, blow drier, firewood, etc. The place was immaculate and very comfortable but the best part was the location on Lake Champlain. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in every way.

Wonderful stay

My in-laws, husband and I had a wonderful week at Tavi Haz. Charles was an excellent host—helpful, communicative, and close by. The house and property are just as described. It is very well appointed for those who love to cook and grill (we do!). There is lots of comfortable seating, inside and out. The views are spectacular! We could have stayed there much longer and hope for an opportunity to return!
