Wedding celebrations

We rented Highland Lodge for our family that were traveling from out of state for our daughter's wedding. The wedding was at the Big Canoe Chapel. The Highland Lodge was a perfect place to host many family members and we all loved the cabin atmos

Great place for our Creative Conference

Place was everything we hoped for and Patti made sure that the few minor bumps we hit were taken care of quickly. If you need a place for a creative retreat, look no where else, this place has it all.We will definitely return again!!!

Best Place Ever

Fantastic house, fabulous host!

The house is beautiful, really well equipped, splendid view. Patti, our host was incredibly fast to respond to questions and super helpful. Just be aware, the property is pretty remote, so do your grocery shopping before you arrive!

Incredible view!!

Our book club has stayed at several N Ga properties and this one has the best view. Pictures do not do it justice. The house is beautiful with a nicely stocked kitchen. The owner was easy to work with. We will definitely return.

Beautiful Home for a Large Group

Loved the craftsmanship and cozy interiors of the home! The vrbo host was great about quick responses. Wish we knew that the house was very far into Big Canoe- takes about 20 minutes to get to once you get in Big Canoe.

Fantastic

We were all in town for a wedding. There was so much room for all of us at this house. We used to have a vacation house in Big Canoe and o had no idea there were views this stunning g there! Every window had a magnificent view. Felt like we were at the top of the mountain! I had to contact host a couple times for things and she was always quick to respond and so helpful!! Can’t wait to go back to this house

Great Stay

We had a fantastic experience at the Lodge during a last minute Labor Day trip to Big Canoe. The highlight was the views, which are spectacular. The house is nearly as pleasing and the most well-equipped vacation rental we have stayed in. Patti was very responsive, patient, and accommodating of with our requests to add guests not on the original reservation. We would stay here again without reservation.

Highland Lodge is a beautiful rental. Amazing log architecture and elegant decor. Lots of room to spread out and the view is to die for!

Beautiful home

House was exactly as pictured, was in great shape And had everything we needed. Views were incredible off the deck and were well worth the trip up to the top! Plenty of places to sleep, entertain, spread out, and enjoy the area.

Perfect

My family rented the lodge for a long weekend. The house was amazingly beautiful, fully stocked and Patti was very accommodating. The only thing that topped the house was the unbelievable views from every angle. Much needed getaway to escape the real world for a spell.

Perfect retreat

Perfect view from the porch! Everything you need is here. It is nice to have multiple spaces for guests to spread out in different sitting areas. Spotless.

2024 Lambka Family Vacation in Big Canoe

The lodge is fantastic and we all had a great time! Loved the waterfall in the front yard and the magnificent view from the back porch. Only suggestion is to replace the single bed on the upper floor; very uncomfortable and hard to get into and out of for older adults plus it looks like a coffin! We purchased a single blow-up bed and sheets from Walmart for Ms. Libby to use during our stay - she is 84 years old!

Paradise

The property and the location is a paradise. We had our entire family of 14 stay at the property and it is large enough to accommodate everyone and allow them to have their own space as well. The views are spectacular and quiet nights are indescribable. Great large gathering space for everyone to congregate to plays games and enjoy each other. The double decks allow for enough space for corn hole, darts, or sitting by a nice fire while grilling. The communication with property manager was excellent prior to and during our trip. Thank you for allowing our family to experience such a great property and location. We will definitely visit again!

Friends Retreat

This house was the perfect spot for our group to stay. There were seven individuals who had worked together years before and formed a bond of friendship which has lasted for a long time, so this house was spectacular for our needs! It is maybe the nicest house we have ever rented in a long string of renting houses at Big Canoe. And the scenery from off the deck was out of this world! I can’t recommend this house highly enough.

Perfect for a work retreat

We hosted a work retreat for our senior leadership team and it was a perfect setting for that. The house was very clean, spacious, large kitchen and dining areas and large living room for a gathering area. The host was very responsive and accommodating. It was clear she paid attention to all the small details. We hope to be back again soon!
