About this property

Soaring ceilings and the coziness of wood instantly greet you as you enter A BEARY TAIL. Offering two master suites with king beds and whirlpool tubs, after a day of adventures you can return to a relaxing retreat. And for the kids, there's a twin over queen bunk bed in the game room loft. Kids never seem to lose much energy but the game room has plenty of options to keep them entertained: a pool table, classic video games, board games and Dish TV. PacMan, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders and more will keep all ages entertained.

We will consider adult dogs up to 75 lbs (though the VRBO house rules section listing says 50 lbs). Please inquire for pet approval before booking.

The pet stay fee is $125.00 plus tax and is charged PER PET. We appreciate any supporting details so we can determine if your pet is a good fit. Dogs must be experienced travelers and crated when staying alone at the cabin. Absolutely no confining of pets to the bedroom or bathroom. Sorry, no puppies or cats.

Nice cabin!

Our stay was great! We weren’t at the cabin much as we were very busy. But the cabin had what we needed for our stay. Clean and homey. Location was good.

Wonderful cabin for family trip

This cabin fit our needs perfectly for our family trip. It is well set up and stocked. The special touches - such as hand soap dispensers at every sink make this cabin so easy to come and stay and show the owners care about your comfort during your stay. . The kitchen is well stocked even though there is not a pantry - there is plenty of counter space to use. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing pool with our kids in the evenings. The owner is very quick and so helpful with responding to questions. We would definitely stay here again !

Well Stocked and Quiet

This cabin was well-stocked and was one of the first that we didn't have to bring all the linens, dishes, etc. It was a nice, quiet location and you truly feel as though you're the only one on the mountain. Not that crime is an issue in the area, but with the cabin being located in a gated community, it afforded an additional sense of security. Will definitely be returning next year.

A beary good experience

The property and amenities matched the description. A comfortable setting with amazing outdoor porch to enjoy morning coffee while being close to nearby attractions. We were happy with our experience.

Perfect getaway

Clean, hot tub fantastic, looks just like pics, and thank god the kids wanted to spend more time in the cabin than at the touristy hot spots. A great getaway from hustle and bustle, we’ll definitely return!

Adventurous Getaway

Our family had an amazing getaway to Beary Tale! When we weren’t hiking a nearby trail, hitting Dollywood, or enjoying Pidgeon Forge, we were having a blast playing pool or Ms Pac-Man at the cabin. We had a slight issue with the lock key pad when we arrived but Amy was wonderful and promptly addressed issue.

Great family get away cabin

The stay was great and had lots of fun for the kids with a great setup overall. I will say the arcade system could use volume buttons, but I may have just been unsuccessful in discovering where it was, lol. Great place for a family stay that was just a short drive from Downtown Gatlinburg!

Small but cozy

This cabin is smaller than the pictures look, but it was fine for us. We enjoyed playing pool every night and the video games after being in town all day. We enjoyed eating our meals on the porch. The cabin was close to town which was really nice. I love that they are a pet friendly cabin.

Nice enough but not meant for disabled

The property is nice, but the drive in is rough. There are inclines that really do a number on your transmission. Once there, there are blinds with mold on them and no recliner for a disabled individual. When I reached out to the property manager I was told that they were booked up and there was nothing they could do. We had to leave after two nights of our four night stay due to the lack of accommodation and we were refused a refund.

Great Place

Our family enjoyed our stay here. We enjoyed playing pool and the video games. The location was great and within 20-30 minutes of most stuff we went to do. The kitchen was well stocked. We will definitely look to stay again.

Son’s 14th birthday celebration in the mountains

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and very accommodating. We had everything we needed. Even had plenty of kitchen items for us to prepare full meals there. We would definitely consider rebooking when we are in the area agian. Love the view and the wild life is a bonus to us city folk lol!

Great Property and Location

Our stay at Beary Tale was wonderful. Accommodations and location was perfect for our Family. 10mins to Pigeon Forge and 10mins to Gatlinburg. Property owner was very helpful and the communication prior to our stay was appropriate. The only request I will make for future guest is that the tub in the Guest Room be checked for draining issues. We were standing in water for any shower that lasted longer than 5 minutes. I would recommend this property.
