There will be a Pickle Ball court on the property in February.
Our property is called The Mustard Seed Venue.
This unit can be rented for a wedding and the entire Tanner Manor Lodge can be rented as a reception area and inside wedding area. There is an outside wedding area also. Weddings are at an additional charge. Contact owner Kathryn Tanner about this.
There are 12 acres that you can hike on and even a small outside chapel and gazebo to be used for an outside wedding (at an extra cost and it needs to be approved beforehand). You can follow the gravel road from TML up to the top - curve to the right - to find the gazebo, mountain view area and a bench swing that overlooks Pigeon Forge and the mountains behind it. There is a community Firepit behind Tanner Manor Lodge. Go behind the cabin and you will see 2 gravel paths, take the one to the left that leads up to the Firepit. There is a hose there to put out the fire after it has been used. Behind TML there is also a grill and picnic tables. Picnic tables and bench swings are also located around TML for your use. The balcony outside of the front of The Ranch is only for the guests of The Ranch. Everything else is shared by all guests. Behind TML there is a large area with a picnic table and a well house. On the other side of the well house is a big deck box with outside games (bocce ball, croquet and other games in the future) for your use. Just please put them back after you are finished using them. There is an EV charger at one of our cabins that is a short walk away. Be sure to bring your adapters if you have a Tesla, the connector is the J1772. Just let Kathryn know if you are going to need to use it while you are there so she can arrange it with the other guests. The space is NOT a separate cabin, it is a unit INSIDE of a large Lodge - Tanner Manor Lodge. There are 3 overnight units in the Lodge. The property also has 6 other cabins and 3 other units on it. 1 is The Vieux (#2609521) sleeps 20, The Duck & Turtle Pond (#7565732) sleeps 6, The Loft (#3323255) sleeps 4 and The Nest (# 3325746) sleeps 4, Kissing the Clouds (#3325752) sleeps 4. The property manager was great-very responsive to communication about issues (we had a millipede issue, but they responded very quickly).
The cabin itself is nice, but the layout is a little strange. One bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a toilet and shower, but no sink. Another has a full en suite, but there is no door between the bedroom and the bathroom. Even a curtain would have been helpful.
Other than that, the cabin was very spacious and they appear to be in the process of upgrading (new floors, games, etc). There were plenty of towels and linens and the kitchen was fairly well stocked as well.
Overall, for the price it was a very nice cabin. Convenient to Pigeon Forge (10-15 mins).
This is a perfect place to stay for weddings at the magnolia wedding venue. It’s only a few minute drive away. It’s also close to all attractions in the area. Cabin was clean and very roomy. Worked great for me and my wife and 3 adult kids.
We had a wonderful time on our trip this spring! The cabin was very pretty and well designed. The road is slightly steep but it is definitely a 2 lane road where most other cabins say 2 lane but more of a 1.5 lane.
My husband and I stayed here with 3 other couples while in town for a marriage retreat. The retreat was held in both Gatlinburg and Sevierville and this home was about the same distance to both locations. It is a little bit of a drive to get there but not bad and it gets you out away from the noise. The home is spacious and well equipped. I usually pack a few utensils and things when we are staying in VRBO's because you never know what you will find in the kitchen, but this one is well stocked, including a drawer full of seasonings.
The host, Kathryn, was very responsive. We had a small issue while we were there and she did what she could to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
The layout of the home is a little odd, but it gives you plenty of room to spread out or come together.
We had a great stay at the ranch. Alot of room for family fun and a beautiful place. Alot of parking. We were there for jeep invasion and had plenty of room for our jeep doors when they were off. We had a washer issue but the owner was on top of it immediately! She was the best! Any questions we had she was on top of it so fast. Thank you for letting us stay at the ranch. We plan on staying here again.
This large unit is located on top of a mountain without having the steep drive up to it. No need for a 4x4 to get here, you can just drive a regular car up. The 8 cabins we own are all on the same 12 acres, making it the perfect location for a family reunion. We have a Destination Wedding Venue as well on the property that can be rented (or it comes free with 2 nights at The Vieux). Overall, our cabins and units sleep 50 people so for a wedding, reunion or retreat, you can have everyone stay within walking distance of each other. You are able to hike around the property and with the exception of the Beehive unit, every cabin and unit has a beautiful view of the mountains from it. Also, there is a gazebo and a small outside chapel (wedding venue) at the top of the gravel driveway on the property where you can see breathtaking sunsets, sunrises, Fall colors, a winter wonderland and other gorgeous views of the mountains, Pigeon Forge, etc.
What makes this property unique
Have you ever wanted to vacation with family and friends without vacationing directly with them? Need your space to spread out? Want a fun couples week/weekend with other couples but want your own privacy at the same time? This is the perfect place to rent. Just rent this along with another cabin(s) or one of our romantic unit(s) and have the perfect time away with friends. If one couple rents a cabin with a hot tub, everyone can use it in your group. Also, unlike other trips, there is no need for a vacation after the vacation when you have the relaxing scenery around you while having coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night on the balcony/deck.
You can go hiking on the property to see beautiful, breath-taking views - especially from the top of the property (top of the gravel road) where you will find a gazebo and small outside chapel. This property is perfect for Destination Weddings as well with the gazebo and chapel. The property also has 5 cabins and 3 units on it. 1 is The Vieux (#2609521) sleeps 20, The Duck & Turtle Pond (#7565732) sleeps 6, The Loft (#3323255) sleeps 4 and The Nest (# 3325746) sleeps 4, Kissing the Clouds (#3325752) sleeps 4.
