The neighborhood and the beach were great. And that is where we spent most of our time. But the house left something to be desired. Upon checking in, we discovered the third floor had not been cleaned at all. A cleaning crew had to come and change all the sheets and actually vacuum the floors to finish cleaning the property.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only issue. Also during Roaches throughout the house. We called the property manager and they put in for an exterminator to come out but in the seven days that we were there, nobody did. Despite multiple calls back to the property manager no exterminator was ever sent out.
In addition to that, the property Not very well-maintained. A doorhandle fell off the master Bedroom, bathroom door, a towel rack fell off the wall in another room, the chairs in the dining area and barstools were falling apart.
Another frustration was that the refrigerator at the property did not cool. We had to actually take all the groceries that we purchased for the week and have them moved to another house to avoid them spoiling.
In defense ocean reef properties was easy to get a hold of, and offered solutions to most of these problems. However, I would be very cautious on renting this property in the future. We also Noticed while on vacation that the property was for sale. Maybe that’s why they are not doing a very good job keeping it up?
