Our stay was wonderful…very relaxing! We’ve stayed at this cabin several times and will definitely be back again! This cabin is beautiful, it has always been very clean and the owner responds to requests and any questions very quickly!
This beautiful home and its perfect location was more than we had dreamed or expected. It was spotless, the property was maintained beautifully, and we were so impressed by the furnishings and the view was beyond amazing. Ray is the perfect host, and we just can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Peaceful, quiet, and no neighbors close by. Highly recommended!!!
We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean, spacious and cozy. The view of the mountains was beautiful. It’s secluded and perfect for looking at stars at night. The host was super responsive and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.
The house was so clean and so comfortable, we felt right at home! The grounds were well kept and the view was amazing! Owner was very responsive to messages as well. We will definitely be back!
Amazing views! Because it sits at the top of the mountain on the ridgeline, the yard around the cabin was large and relatively flat. As we sat outside in the middle of summer, we noticed the silence. Not a single bug, nor bird, although we could see birds flying at a lower elevation nearer the valley floor. The rooms inside were very spacious. The brand new leather LaZBoy recliner, loveseat double recliner and tri-sofa recliner were especially comfortable. The 20 minute drive to the top of Spruce Knob was beautiful. Lots of butterflies and varieties of flowers.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The mountain views took our breaths away. The stars and Milky Way put on a show for us in the night sky. The cabin is well appointed, clean, and has everything you need for a home away from home. Make sure you bring personal toiletry items, grocery, spices, coffee, tea, etc.) as stores are not in close proximity. And who wants to leave the cabin once you get there?
Our family had a wonderful stay. There is so much to do that we couldn't fit everything into one week. The cabin is remote enough for solitude, yet close enough to amazing views, hikes, swimming holes and adventure. Everything was clean and tidy inside and outside of the home. Just make sure you read the owners suggestions and plan your groceries ahead of time, so you don't have to drive too far. We will be planning to stay here again!
This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the area and close enough for day trips to places like Seneca rocks, Dolly Sods, and Green Bank Observatory. Everything was perfect and my family and I were so impressed with this property! The back porch was my morning favorite with a cup of coffee!
Beautiful view. Great amenities. If I had one thing to say that needed done would be to get the furniture cleaned-a little dirty. Other than that it was a wonderful stay
My friends and I enjoyed the quiet setting on top of the mountain. Very peaceful and we didnt have any traffic since this is the last property on the road. Ray was always quick to respond when I had a question of things we may need and places to visit. Highly recommend this place if you want to get away from everything.
Stayed two nights. Absolutely gorgeous views, exactly as advertised. The new hot tub under the stars was just amazing. Had a couple questions and the owner was very attentive and helpful over both evenings. Kitchen is stocked with what you need to make your meals, but you’ll want to stop at a market on your way up. Would recommend this to anyone.
Immaculate scenic mountain chalet, with spectacular views.
We had small family Thanksgiving gathering here, and created lasting memories for 3 generations of family.
We were so pleased to find a well equiped kitchen, clean and cozy bedrooms and living area with views that provided a spectacular and everchanging backdrop to our gathering.
We enjoyed the firepit and hot tub, appreciated the excellent wifi and laundry, and well maintained property.
The property was a little tricky to locate, but Ray's groundskeeper (and Molly!) were looking out for us, and assisted helping with the last bit of the journey.
Absolutely will return, and highly reccpmend, but
