About this property

Cozy, comfortable cottage in Oak Bluffs near everything! Features a huge wrap around deck with furniture and attached outdoor shower. Walk or bike to the beach, Sunset Lake, Oak Bluffs Harbor, Circuit Avenue, Flying Horses and the Steamship Authority terminal. Explore the island by bus from just outside the door.

Renovated in 2010, our home is decorated with an eclectic eye toward contemporary and mid-century. The cottage is comfortable and homey with everything you need. At nearly 800 square feet, it is perfect for a small family, romantic escape, girls' getaway, or a low-key vacation with friends.

Flat-screen, stereo, fully outfitted kitchen, newer appliances throughout and window unit air conditioning provide every creature comfort. We've also left a large selection of paperbacks if you feel like curling up with a good book. Breakfast on the deck sets the tone for the day and a hot outdoor shower awaits your return from the beach.

2 Bedrooms are across from each other with a single common bath. The dining area seats six with room to squeeze two more if needed. We've provided comfortable lounging areas and plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. However, the couch does not pull out, so we stick to a four max policy.

The cottage is peaceful and quiet with tons of natural light. Although walking or biking distance to the center of Oak Bluffs, you are out of the hustle and bustle in this wonderful, family-friendly neighborhood. The ferry horn sounds in the distance alerting you of friends' arrival and warning that you have just a few minutes to make them a welcome cocktail or toast to the folks leaving paradise!

Great stay

Excellent stay on M/V. House is very clean & comfortable. Nice neighborhood that is also very private & quiet. Nice short walk to downtown Oak Bluffs. Would stay here again.

Another wonderful stay

We were repeat renters and quickly booked this property for the following year once we returned home. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The home is comfortable, fully equipped and centrally located. Our host was outstanding, accommodating and easy to contact/communicate with. If our plans for 2023 hadn’t changed we would have booked again immediately. But no worries, we will return.

This property was perfect. It is very clean. Check in was flawless. We had some trouble getting the lock box open but Lisa responded immediately with how to open after we notified her. The listing was spot on. There were no issues and it was the perfect size for our group. The location was great as we could walk into Oak Bluffs and we were close to our friends home which allowed our son to walk back and forth with no issue. We also were very close to the bike trail which we utilized 3 separate times. Again, great job by Lisa. She was very responsive with any questions we had. I highly recommend this property and we would stay again no doubt! It made our first trip to the Vineyard very memorable and very fun.

Summer vacation

This is a wonderful spot to stay on MV - close to town, yet far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. It has all that you need! Living room is spacious and a comfortable place to relax, read, and watch TV. Deck is large and cool. Outdoor shower felt amazing after a hot day at the beach.

Fantastic Location!

This was the perfect location for a much needed getaway. Just off the "beaten path" enough to be quiet, yet close to everything one could want. Cozy accommodations with deck to relax on, an outdoor shower to enjoy after a day on the beach, plenty of space, on-site parking and laundry. Who could ask for more!? Thank you for helping create a wonderful vacation experience for us. I will definitely be back.

Awesome location close to downtown Oak Bluffs!

Very cute house close to town. It had everything we needed. My 4 yr old son loved playing on the wrap around porch and laying in the hammock. Owner was very attentive to any questions we had. We are definitely interested in staying again next summer.

Location, location, location!

This cozy little cottage was perfectly located to downtown OB. We walked all week to our favorite places and even the beach. No car needed! The home was clean and well stocked, and Lisa was very accommodating and flexible. Highly recommend!

Cute, comfortable home; perfect for a short visit!

We had a very enjoyable stay during our short visit to Oak Bluffs. The weather did not cooperate so we were unable to enjoy the lovely deck but the home was clean and comfortable ( the bed was very comfortable). The location is perfect for walking into Oak Bluffs for breakfast and evening dining and is also convenient for driving. We explored the entire island. There are also bike rentals and a beach within walking distance. We really had a fun time!

Lovely cottage walking distance to ferry, beach and town

Lovely cottage near cute town and 2 public beaches. Home was fully stocked, clean and nicely decorated. The deck was nicely shaded and has a large table for outdoor dining. Highly recommend!

Great house!

The location in Oak Bluffs was wonderful! Walking distance to everything in Oak Bluffs and an easy bike ride to Edgartown. This house was perfect for our week long vacation.

Charming, comfortable, and clean, as always.

I can't say enough about this place. This wasn't our first visit to Lisa's, because since we've stayed there we refuse to stay anywhere else. Lisa is the most wonderful host and their home is so warm and inviting every single visit. We have a young son and their home has all the necessities for us without having to lug everything from home. The street is so welcoming and the location is unbeatable!! We can walk to Circuit Ave and our favorite breakfast place every morning after enjoying coffee/tea on the porch and can easily get to other places on the island. Much of what makes us love our MV vacations is their home and the comfort and ease it brings. I HIGHLY recommend the cottage for your visit!

Lovely Stay in MV

My husband and I have stayed here twice and it was absolutely amazing! The place is located in the heart of Martha's Vineyard in Oakbluffs, the 1st time we traveled around the island to various towns and beaches on bikes and the 2nd visit on a moped which sat 2. The house is fully stocked with all the essentials and the outdoor amenities topped off the stay. The owners are a nice couple who are accommodating and responsive, while the cottage makes you feel instantly at home. We enjoyed lazy days, grilling on the deck, star gazing, out door showers and island exploring! This cozy cottage is sure to delight and top off a perfect getaway. The Chaneys

An excellent and easy getaway

We've stayed here twice and absolutely love the cottage. Its filled with everything you could want for a vacation and, being without a car, is only a few minutes from everything else. The outdoor shower is great for after the beach and making a quick clean-up before going back out again. Right off of all the bike paths, we easily were able to bike to any other part of the island. The owner is most gracious and very easy to work with. We wholeheartedly recommend.

A perfect stay!

We couldn't be happier about our stay at this perfect little home in Oak Bluffs. The house was spotless, newly renovated and had all of the amenities you could possibly need. Every detail was exactly as explained and shown in pictures so there were no surprises! The location was great for walking to Circuit Ave and the outdoor deck was perfect for lounging and enjoying the BBQ. We definitely recommend this house to other couples with small families - it's perfect for a family of 4. We look forward to spending another week there next summer.

We love Martha's Vineyard and are so fortunate to consider it home. Living in Connecticut, we occasionally take the Quonset Fast Ferry to keep the drive short and highly recommend you consider the same. We have a young child and look forward to many years of sharing the Vineyard as a family. Our home is particularly perfect for a small family similar to ours.

We've been visiting the island for years and are constantly drawn back. When we first saw our house, it was in need of TLC. After lots of work, we love the convenient location of our home and look forward to any time spent on the Vineyard. The cottage is our home and meant to be a sanctuary. Our home is really cozy, stylish and has everything you could need for a visit to the island. We love the location. It's convenient to everything, but still out of the way. Over the years we've made improvements to the outside and hope to do more in the upcoming years. Unlike many rentals, we provide bed linens as well as bath and beach towels.
