The Casita at Anderson Lake

Relax and unwind in this charming cottage situated on a 21 acre private lake. Enjoy fishing in the fully stocked lake or sit by a fire in the firepit. Watch our horses grazing in the pasture or catch a glimpse of the wildlife as you enjoy coffee or an afternoon cocktail from the large deck that is fully enclosed for the safety of little ones. Frequently we see deer, eagles, ducks, geese, and purple martins. This house has 1 bedroom with a full size bed on the main floor. There is a loft with an additional king bed. The house is 500sq ft not counting the loft or deck area. There is also a kayak available to enjoy the lake. The owners live on the 65 acre property in the main house, but you will have the entire casita to yourself.

The Casita
The Casita at Anderson Lake was a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The hosts were incredible and very easy to communicate with. The place was spotless and absolutely beautiful. It was an easy drive to Hot Springs to enjoy activities if you can make yourself leave the tranquility of the property. We will definitely be planning another visit.

Country heaven
The house was very clean, comfortable and and so quiet. The surroundings were so beautiful. The view, the sounds, the sunrise was so enjoyable. The hosts were always reachable. Its close to Little Rock, if you need the big city, but the close towns offer plenty. I will definitely return here. I brought my dog, and she enjoyed it so much. They have a firepit, dock, outside covered porch, fishing, kayaking, and swimming.

Our stay at the casita was AMAZING! The hosts were so nice and let us use many of their amenities. The deck and environment was all so relaxing. We loved fishing, kayaking, hanging on the deck, and just looking at all the scenery. We would love to come back again! Such a great experience!

Perfect and Peaceful
I am very picky. I have never stayed anywhere that I did not have one single complaint either big or small but this time I could not have found something bad to say if I tried! The attention to detail and cleanliness was perfection. The place is beautiful and peaceful and even though you feel like you are miles from anywhere, it’s very conveniently located to anything you’d need. I also have to mention that the 2nd night we were there we had some horrible weather. The winds were so strong I thought for sure we would blow away at any moment. The casita not only didn’t blow away, it didn’t budge. We had no damage whatsoever and no leaks. I was amazed. My family can’t wait to go back!

Awesome relaxing getaway! 10/10
The hostess was SO sweet and accommodating with our small children, SUPER clean and fresh, very caring and thoughtfully set up. The swimming and kyaking was relaxing, the outdoor spaces were very well kept and stocked (tiki torches, fire wood, grill supplies, etc). We will definitely be back there every single time we are needing accommodation in the area!!

Very nice property uniquely situated on a beautiful lake in a rural area. Well maintained little cabin with lots of outdoors just out the doors. Quite night’s perfect for great sleep.

Wonderful Stay
We had a great time at Anderson Lake! The casita was just what we needed. It was a clean and cozy space to enjoy our Thanksgiving break. We were close to our family in Benton and enjoyed the quiet space to retreat to in the evenings. The beds were comfortable and the lake view was beautiful.

Beautiful Property!!!
We found a slice of heaven! The property is stunning, the lake is beautiful and the little place “barn” was simply perfect! We were here for a week visiting our grandsons and we will be back. We fished, walked, built a fire with s’mores and pet the horses. Ashley is a great host and the sunrise over the lake is glorious!!

Anderson Lake is like a little paradise! Peaceful and we their dog, Sugar! The house was fully stocked and the spices were sticked as well. Great family weekend! Thank you Dale and Ashley!

Nature lovers dream getaway
This cabin was so cozy and set in the most beautiful setting with a great view of the lake. It was very clean and the hostess thought of everything possible to make our visit enjoyable. Swimming towels, fire pit with marshmallow roasting sticks, rafts, snacks and more. Bed & pillows were extra comfortable. The hostess was such a joy to visit with. We will definitely stay here again!

Hidden Weekend Oasis
If you’re looking for a quick weekend getaway, “The Casita at Anderson Lake” has it all! It was just what my family needed, as it provided us with an enjoyable & relaxing night away from home to celebrate my daughters 25th birthday. The casita is clean & cozy, and it’s equipped with everything you could possibly need for a short vacation. The lake is fully stocked and great for fishing, and the water is clean, clear and perfect for swimming. Fire pit was an added plus… campfire s’mores made our trip complete. Huge thank you to our hosts… the birthday gift for my daughter was an added surprise and much appreciated. I highly recommend this property, and we definitely plan on booking it again in the future.

Great stay, great hosts.
Property did not disappoint. Cannot beat the view of the private lake and accompanying landscape. Pics generally give you a pretty good idea of what the property entails, but what pics don't tell you, and what often makes a good stay, a great one...are the hosts. The Anderson family were amazing hosts. The care package and handwritten note were awesome. They are welcoming with pretty much all aspects of the property. Let us take out the little john-boat to fish the lake, let the kids watch them feed the catfish, made sure we had everything we needed, and more. Do not hesitate to book this property if you're looking for something in the area.

Pretty Getaway South of Little Rock
Property was clean and as advertised. Pond was clear, I would have swam if I had more time. AC was cold, water was hot, beds were comfortable, hosts were friendly and helpful. Plenty of fish in the pond and room in the refrigerator. Hosts were very considerate of our dogs (who were in turn considerate of the casita). Would stay again in a heartbeat.

TRULY A PARADISE
I HAVE STAYED AT VRBOS ALL ACROSS THIS BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY, BUT THIS TAKES THE CAKE. IT'S KIND OF LIKE GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS IT WAS JUST RIGHT! THE HOST ASHLEY WAS FABULOUS!!! SHE ACTUALLY CUT ME A WALKING TRAIL AROUND THE LAKE!!! WILL RETURN
