This suite is located in the mature neighborhood of Canora. Canora is a residential neighborhood located in west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is named after the Canadian Northern Railway, which is abbreviated to Canora. The neighborhood was named after a school building near the abandoned right of way of the railway. The community is represented by the Canora Community League, which maintains a community hall, outdoor rink and tennis court. Canora is bounded by 107 Avenue to the north, 156 Street to the west, Stony Plain Road to the south, and 149 Street to the east. There are two schools in the neighborhood, Brightview Elementary School and Holy Cross Elementary Junior High School. Canora School, which opened in 1949, is now a day care facility.
