Nice inside , jungle outside
My stay was nice, however there were things I should have been told upfront. The shower had been connected backwards, so I took cold showers. The grass in the front of the house was 3 feet tall. Once inside the house is nice. There was a sound that played the whole time I was there. But overall it was nice.

The house was nice. The are was terrible and the hot water didnt work.
To start of the location of the property was in a not so great environment. Not only that but when concerns was listed to the owner it was dismissed. There was bugs in the shower and in the home as well. I left with my legs covered in bug bites wish there was a way to add pictures but please don’t book. It was a very unpleasant experience.
Well before I got there was no water running for hours. House was clean but at night kitchen was infested with roaches they only was in the kitchen water pressure was weird in shower.

Location is not great
If you’re not familiar with Houston like we were, the location of this place is not the greatest. There was a large pile of trash on the curb right outside. When we arrived there were stools blocking the entrance on the small front porch. It’s nestled pretty tightly in a neighborhood so there is no restaurants or anything in walking distance. The house is nice on the inside, however, it is very old. The floor is leaning and we felt unsteady when walking. It may be okay if you’re in Houston for necessity and need a somewhat affordable place to stay, however, I wouldn’t recommend staying here for leisure. We ended up leaving and checking into a hotel.

Needs TLC
If you only need a place to sleep while visiting Houston, this is the place for you. If you are looking for amenities, this may not be the place for you. This appeared to be in an older part of town going through gentrification. Be aware that the neighborhood is changing. However, it was not the neighborhood that was the challenge, it was inside the unit. The little touches matter!
The GOOD:
The Welcome Book. Great idea to include restaurants and tourist attractions.
General cleanliness was good.
The furniture is comfortable.
Overall, the decor is as described.
The NOT SO GOOD:
The outside appearance makes the unit look sketchy. This unit could use some landscaping and a cleaned porch.
The uneven flooring throughout the unit.
The bathroom towels could use an upgrade. The bathtub could use some type of bath mat to prevent falls.
The lack of pot holders/oven mitts for hot pots.
The UGLY:
Woke up in the middle of the night to find ants and little bugs crawling across the kitchen counter and floor. No food or dirty dishes were left on the counter or sink or in the dishwasher.
The window coverings in the front room, held up by pushpins, were useless, as they did not adequately cover either of the windows. Either add panels and curtain rods or take them down.
