Yuck
This property was dated, although the biggest problem was that it was overall dirty. There were dead roaches in the kitchen (so much for cooking anything), the dinning area, and the half bathroom. The bathroom was dirty. We had to clean the tub before we could shower. We were terrified to use the half bathroom because there were several dead bugs and it was disgustingly dirty. We were only given one towel for a week long stay. WHAT? The place was not swept, or mopped as we saw stains on the floor and dirt. No mop, or broom. We were not provided additional toilet tissues. One of the comforters had a red stain. I contacted the host to let him know that while we were enjoying the country, the place was dirty. It didn't matter to him because he never messaged me back. Vrbo also contacted him, and they are yet to hear back. So, we didn't have a choice but to suck it up and do the best we could. WTH, we were already there.
The best thing about this place was that it was centrally located to the train station, and the stores. It had a VERY safe door that gave us peace of mind. They were renovating the place, so it was noisy. This was not mentioned to us. The place has lots of potential if the host were to clean it up, and update it. Many people can deal with dated places, but a dirty place with bugs all over can sure ruin things. Dear host, please inform the renters about what they need to bring. SO AS IT STANDS, I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU STAY HERE. Greece, however, is beautiful!
