Mountain Air - A202-Pet Friendly Condo - Mtn Views - outside of Asheville

Note: Paperwork must be submitted to gate and POA 3 days in advance so please keep that in mind when you are booking. Also a $75 cleaning fee is due upon departure in cash.

Escape to the mountains at this beautifully decorated and comfortable condo in charming Burnsville. Dogs are welcome!! This condo is fully furnished and provides all of the comforts from home. The home is located in the gated community of Mountain Air and is very private. Relax on the porch and enjoy this area even when it is raining or snowing. Condo has phantom screen doors to enjoy the weather outside without worrying about bugs getting inside. The condo is very accessible with 3 terraced stairs from the parking lot. There are three smart TVs, two with DVD players. Great views from the condo and amazing views from the top of the mountain. Hiking trails are available for access within the neighborhood even a few just steps from the condo. Relaxing parks are available for use throughout the mountain.

Two bedrooms:
Master Suite with King Size bed (Casper Mattress), side tables, access to the porch, flat screen TV with DVD Player. A double sink bathroom with clawfoot tub and separate stand up shower. Shampoo and Soap provided.

Second Bedroom with a bunkbed where the bottom can be a king or two separate singles, TV and DVD player. Trundle can be used on the ground or popped up and there is a child's bed rail in the closet to use with the bed. Bathroom with tub/shower combo and single sink.

Living room open to Kitchen and Dining room. Comfortable couches to relax on. Kitchen has everything you should expect from your home kitchen including Coffee maker, pots/pans, utensils and storage containers.

Large Orvis Therapeutic Dog Bed, Dog Bowls Available. Large Dog Collar (orange hunting color) with Condo Address available for use.

Skiing in the winter is near by at Wolf Ridge. Hiking at Linville Falls, Crabtree Falls, and Mt Mitchell and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway are less than an hour drive. Great fly fishing can be found around Burnsville and Spruce Pine area. Golf Courses are located nearby at Mt Mitchell Golf Course and Grassy Creek Golf Course.

NOTE: Starting in 2019, the Country Club Board decided that the Country Club facilities are not allowed for rental guest (unaccompanied guest) use unless your stay is 30 days or longer, further there is a $1500 transfer fee of the membership to the renter charged by the club.

The condo was beautifully furnished, clean and well stocked. The view was incredible. We enjoyed the trails through out the community with our dog. The town of Burnsville was at the bottom of the mountain with nice grocery stores and restaurants. We would definately return.

Breathtaking View!

We stayed at Kristin's Mountain Air condo for two nights and never wanted to leave! The condo is laid out so comfortably, offered all the amenities we could hope for, and best of all had an absolutely breathtaking view. We drove the Blue Ridge Parkway and never saw a view as beautiful as the one from Kristin's condo and deck. Check-in was easy and Kristin was always responsive. We will definitely stay again if we return to Burnsville!

Breathtaking View, Great Location!

The unit was perfect - well laid out, clean and welcoming. You feel like you're visiting family. The views are breathtaking! The community is warm and welcoming, with lovely hiking trails and parks throughout. We had a minor issue with the internet which was resolved immediately. I can't recommend this place highly enough! Easy to get to, paved roads are great. Lovely neighborhood. The condo was comfortable and very well appointed. The view was stunning. The only issue we had was that the WiFi didn’t seem to work, but I never did get around to calling the owner, so that wasn’t her fault. We just made do. Would happily stay again.

Great Spacious, Homey Condo with Every Imaginable Amenity!

We absolutely loved the condo from the moment we opened the door! The deck view which overlooks the mountains is one that captivated the eye each and every moment. Our first day was a restful one filled with admiration of the scenic mountain view snuggled on the coach with a warm fire place. We loved the trails and the breathtaking view from the resort mountain top. On a scale of 1 to 10 this place was a "15" because it was equipped with every possible amenity needed to make you feel right at home! Especially the kitchen with all of the modern appliances. Thanks for the most memorable vacation in the mountains!

Great visit

Fantastic views, clean, well stocked kitchen which exceeded our expectations. With that said the rocking chair does not have sufficient footing and will sail backwards in a heart beat, need higher commodes for adults and bathroom hand rails in shower as well as commodes. Otherwise, we and our little blind dog had a great stay.
