A unique 960 sq ft rustic cabin that rests on over 2 wooded acres in a peaceful and beautiful rural setting that can be hiked down to a creek on the property. This is the ideal spot for couples, outdoor lovers and those who simply want to recharge from the daily hustle and bustle. We are minutes away from outdoor activities such as kayaking, zip lining, fishing, disc golf course, hiking, and much more. We are also a short 30 minute drive to Nashville and Franklin.!

Cozy little cabin

It was such a cozy little cabin. Everything was so clean and just perfect. I would definitely stay again. Jamie, the host was such a sweetheart.

Perfect location!

We had functions in Nashville and Dickson and our son and daughter-in-law were staying 4 miles away. It was just what we needed. I have one caveat. There is no bathroom near the bedroom. It was not a huge problem for us but we are pretty spry for being in our 70s.

Beautiful Cozy Cabin

We stayed here for the last few days of our honeymoon, it was a great place to relax after a busy week! You are in a residential area but still secluded and private. The cabin is beautifully decorated with antiques, The host is amazing she even drove a lighter out to us when we struggled to start a fire! Wonderful stay we hope to come back for an anniversary in the future!!

Great place for private retreat alone

Jaimie was a fantastic host, great communication and provided spot on recommendations for me. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet, neighbors very friendly. I felt safe staying alone for 7 days. Loved the front porch, especially enjoying coffee or hot tea in the morning and listening to the birds. The bed was super comfy. The kitchen equipped well enough for me to prepare meals; I ate majority of the time at the cabin. The cabin is conveniently located to reach many state park trails and I also visited Cheekwood Botanical Gardens which was only a 25-minute drive. But I had 3 days I didn't leave at all, I took walk around neighborhood and just relaxed reading and doing art. I would definitely return!

Nice and cozy

Very nice cabin to call home for w nights while we were being a vendor at an event in Dickson. Everything we needed in kitchen for us to be able to make our breakfasts and dinners. Comfy bed! Nice, cozy and comfy with the added benefit of a place for us to pull in our small enclosed trailer.

Eagles rest was awesome!!

My wife and I are both widowed with a blended family of nine kids, we only live a few miles away but needed a retreat and this cabin is perfect for getting away! Its setting is romantic and ideal. Highly recommend!

Quiet and peaceful.

Eagle's Rest is a very functional cabin and the neighborhood is very quiet. If you want peace this is a good place. Also if you like hiking, it is very close to Montgomery Bell State Park, Bowie Nature Park, and Harpeth River State Park. The property manager was on top of everything and very responsive.

Great Songwriter's Retreat

This is a great place to stay for songwriters that don't want to be in a hotel and don't want to stay in town. Not far from town, or Franklin. Jaimie is a superb host and the place was really cozy, yet great for small group co-writes.

Beautiful cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. So quiet, nicely decorated and had a fireplace that we loved. Would recommend to anyone traveling into the Nashville area.

Cabin in the woods

My second stay was better then the first. Take a walk around the neighborhood with minimal cars and listen to all the wildlife. Bring bug spray it’s Tennessee. Very quiet and relaxing. Short drive to Fairview or Dickson and even Nashville isn’t very far. Lots to look at and see.

Perfect in every way!

My husband and I stayed here with our teen daughter. We all enjoyed the cabin so much! It was truly like home away from home. I appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and the washer and dryer. Both allowed for less packing and saved us $ for sure being able to prepare meals instead of eating out the ten days we were there. Bonus: our VRBO hostess was awesome and so kind!

If you want a cabin

Overall not bad. Certainly not isolated in the woods as the picture insinuates, neighbors close along with a shipping container along the side of the next door neighbor’s property. Very inconvenient to have the only sleeping upstairs (1 queen bed and two add’l beds on floor in closets) and only bathroom downstairs.

This cabin was truly amazing and beautiful, had everything we needed, super clean, gorgeous area and short drive to Nashville Easy check in and host was very helpful , we’ve stayed at a lot of vacation rental and this one is top of the list
