Gunnar's Getaway - Newly renovated cozy log cabin ready to be your Rangeley area adventure homebase. An open floor plan offers a first floor full bath, spacious kitchen with breakfast bar and cozy living room with pull-out queen sofa, 50in flat screen and streaming TV services. Upstairs bedroom #1 offers two queen beds, bedroom #2 offers a king size bed, twin bed and seasonal views of Quimby Pond. Sit on the covered screen porch and enjoy the outdoors or bring your kayak or paddleboard and enjoy a paddle or try your hand at fly fishing Quimby Pond, just a 3 minute walk to the public boat launch. Just 6 miles to downtown Rangeley and 3.5 miles to downtown Oquossoc, both with wonderful restaurants! Linens provided, Keurig coffee maker, Wi-fi available. Firepit and BBQ available, guests must bring their own firewood and camp size propane bottles.

Second stay, still perfectly cozy and comfortable.

This cabin had everything our family of four needed for a fun and relaxing ski getaway. This was our second time renting the cabin and it was great.The kitchen is well appointed, the bedrooms are spacious, the beds and sofas are comfortable, and the location is excellent.

Perfect Maine Getaway

Cozy and just as advertised, this cabin was perfect for our trip. The screened in porch was great at night to hear the loons and was helpful with the dog. The cabin has everything you need, the hosts have thought of every detail. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Rangeley! We really enjoyed ourselves!

Cozy & quiet

We had a great stay! The road had almost no traffic making it perfect for a morning or afternoon run. The cabin itself was well equipped and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparation and more! Hot water was “on-demand’ and filtered water was in the fridge. The screened in front porch was delightful.

Super Comfortable Stay in Rangeley

From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. It was completely clean and decorated beautifully. The owners have stocked the house with everything you could possibly need and then some. It was just two of us but it would have been comfortable for quite a few more. I especially loved the slightly larger tub which was perfect for a relaxing soak. And the location was great because it felt like a private escape but was close to everything we wanted to do and see. The owners were communicative and incredibly thoughtful. An absolutely wonderful stay!

Very comfortable cabin

This cabin was exactly as described. It was very cozy and comfortable. It was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the screened porch and the fire pit. We were able to make meals in the kitchen and we also had steaks on the grill one night. The icing on the cake for my husband was the square ice cubes in the freezer for his bourbon. We have highly recommend it for a quiet getaway.

Great Rangeley Camp!

This property is super clean with a well appointed kitchen (coffee, spices, cooking oil, tin foil, etc.) so that we didn't have to hit the IGA in town for some of those necessities. Great screened in porch to hang out on in the quiet evenings. We'll be back!

Cozy, comfy cabin in tbe woods

What a lovely, cozy cabin. Kristin and Nick have thought about everything. I relaxed, read, caught up on sone binge watching and cooked. The cabin is close to wverything. And the Welcome Book gives you all the information you will need. Highly recommend.

Just a pleasure

Very comfortable and clean property. I wanted for nothing for all the important things were provided. Great kitchen with all of the modern conveniences..ample space for preparing meals. Clean bathroom with its own thermostat to keep you warm. Comfortable bed(s). Nice big screened in porch where you and others can spread out, relax and grill. Property has sufficient land for providing privacy

Comfortable cabin with a great location.

This log cabin was cozy, comfortable, and perfect for our family of four. It was exactly as pictured on the listing. It has a nice well-equipped kitchen, a clean bathroom, spacious bedrooms, and a comfy sitting area. Ample linens, towels, and pillows were provided. The owners provided a helpful “welcome” binder with useful information about the property and the area. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet yet conveniently located to Rangeley’s Main Street, Saddleback Mountain, and many local hiking spots. After a day of skiing it was a warm and cozy place to relax. We loved it!

Our getaway hunting weekend

This was our year # eight weekend of bird hunting with my son and 13 year old grandson. Of all the different places that we have rented this tied with one other for first place. It was clean and had everything that we wanted or needed (except we missed not having a toaster). My grandson got 2 birds and that was his big moment. Thanks for allowing us to stay and when we return to Rangely we definitely will be contacting you again. Thank you Tim

Nice cabin!

The cabin was in a great location; convenient to the small town shops and a reasonable drive to many hiking trails. It was very quiet which was great! We loved the interior as well as the screened front porch. It had the nicest bathroom by far!!! opinion. One suggestion I would have is to definitely increase the amount and variety of cookware. I would definitely stay at this cabin again!

Rangeley Basecamp

We enjoyed a wonderful week with our golden retriever. Its the perfect location for day trips for hiking or fishing, or to easily slip into town for shopping or a meal. We spent one day on the coast but were so glad to have a place in Rangeley as our base. We appreciated the hospitality and felt right at home. You wont regret this cozy getaway! What a gem of a beautifuly restored log cabin!

Quiet and restful cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our mini-vacation! The cottage was very comfortable and extremely quiet which was what we were looking for. I loved listening to the loons and seeing the ducks and loons on Quimby Pond. My first visit to the Rangley Lake area and we will definitely be back!

Cozy Rangeley Getaway (Gunnar's Getaway) is AMAZING!

I had an absolutely amazing time at Cozy Rangeley Getaway (Gunnar's Getaway)!!! My fiance and I had the pleasure of hosting my brother and his husband from this Connecticut who were looking for the "Maine" experience, and it did not disappoint!! This cabin was completely spotless upon arrival, is flawlessly decorated in Maine cabin fashion, the amenities were endless (coffee bar with kcups, beautiful dinnerware, towels, cozy couches and beds, I could go on and on) the location was incredibly convenient and best of all, it was pet friendly!! My dog was welcomed with food bowls and toys!! Additionally, Kristin and Nick are so professional! They provided a welcome guide to the cabin, offered local activities and restaurants, were prompt to answer any questions and were very friendly! I cannot say enough great things about our experience here!! Thank you for giving my brother and brother in law the "Maine" experience so perfectly! HIGHLY recommend!!

Home away from home

Kristin, Nick & Gunnar have an incredible vacation getaway spot here in Rangeley! It was close to everything we wanted to do and they helped us stay very informed on local spots to check out. I had unfortunately overlooked in the online listing where it had said 1 dog limit- Kristin called to handle this with us and was accommodating and understanding of my mistake! I was so thankful as we were already so far from home and had many other bumps along our vacation road- so her understanding and flexibility when we showed up with 3 small dogs will not be forgotten! We hope to come back and visit Rangeley and stay in their beautiful home again! Thanks for everything!
