About this space
Get away from it all and enjoy the master suite of our timber framed mansion.
Summit House is situated on a 200 acre private forest overlooking the scenic Saanich Inlet fjord, 20 mins outside Victoria BC.
Here guests can wake up to sweeping views of the Inlet , hike our private forest with 1km of oceanfront, or simply use Summit House as a base to get out and experience the Malahat and Cowichan Valley surrounds!
The space
The master suite features a king bed, large private ensuite bathroom with separate free-standing shower, and its own private entrance. For guest convenience we provide a barbeque, min-fridge, and coffee/tea station.
Guest access
Rental of the master suite is self contained with own BBQ and mini-fridge, kettle and coffee pot.
Other things to note
As a courtesy to owners and other guests at Summit House, parties are not permitted.
We're planning to offer the main house, large patio and outdoor spaces for weddings and other planned events in the near future. Please enquire as to an amenities and fee schedule, if interested.

Both originally Irish, Frank and Sheila have called Vancouver Island home for nearly 40 years. A large part of that time has been spent operating businesses in the hospitality industry where they have had the opportunity to connect with interesting people from around the world, and to showcase their beloved new island home. Frank loves history, including local lore, and Sheila is an accomplished musician.

Malahat is a small community in the Cowichan Valley, surrounded by lush nature and stunning views of the Saanich Inlet. The Malahat mountain summit is considered one of the most sacred sites on southern Vancouver Island, with one of the best summer micro climates on the island.
