great family getaway

We found the house at Mossy Point Way to be very clean and spacious, with plenty to do for our grandchildren in the game room, hot tub, and the lake shore to be explored !! We were there for Thanksgiving and having two kitchens was very helpful. Each kitchen was small, but well enough stocked with utensils and pans to cook the entire dinner for 14. The bedrooms were far enough apart for sufficient privacy and quiet, as were the common spaces. We would stay there again.

NEVER AGAIN

First off: the only thing good going for this place is the lake view. FOR MY SLAMMEDENUFF HOMIES: You will NOT be able to drive on this, because it’s like a half mile of straight gravel road with dips in it, and a trailer will not fit either due to the sharp and tight turns. Even if you’re on air ride, you won’t clear. When we arrived, wifi hadn’t work for the duration of our stay. All of the silverware/cutlery was not only dirty, but MOLDY. The advertised “queen beds” were only full sized, and it was a problem bc I had people over 6’2. Worst of all? On the third night at around 3 am, the doorbell started going off, but not like a single press, like somebody spamming it. It kept going off every few minutes for about an hour, we cleared the whole house and made sure that it wasn’t any of us playing games, so we ended up calling the police to come and check it all out. Needless to say, we did not continue our stay there. Vacasa is also completely unprofessional with how they handled the complaints, saying “our local team will reach out and take care of this” or “we will let our local team know as soon as possible”, which was a load of bs. Nobody came to check on anything, the wifi was never fixed, and it was all just a mess.

Mosey Point was a beautiful setting. All outside was filthy with spider webs.

Spacious rooms & great starter supplies.

I will stay again

Place was peaceful and beautiful. Few minor issues which was unknown by property owner or property management. When I messaged them they instantly called me with solution to any problems. The dock and lake where amazing. We fully plan to stay again. We are planning a trip just to stay again just because of this house and location..

If I could leave a zero star I would.

To say this house is even ready for VRBO as an active listing is insane. We arrived to the home, unlocked, walked right in, and was welcomed to someone else’s food on the stove, cold breakfast food with little ants flying all around. The house was beyond filthy. I called and texted the company many times with no help at all!! The first night at bedtime we realized there was not only NO blinds but NO curtains, you feel completely uncomfortable since there are gigantic windows in each room. The light randomly came on in the detached garage and not having any windows or curtains made this very uneasy; I called and talked to the VRBO man for over 20 mins and all her could say was he was SURE to call back asap and we never heard from anyone again at all. The next moring we went to the hot tub and CLUMPS of hair were in the hot tub, talk about grose, this place was so nasty I can’t even explain it. The yard wasn’t mowed and it was past our ankles, trash was all over the back yard from the previous guests fireworks. I waited several days before I posted this still waiting on a call to fix the situation and never have heard anything. I would SKIP THIS LISTING, you will only be disappointed and sick to see what you walk into.

Great house for girl’s trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was perfect for our trip. The home was super cool when it was terribly hot and humid outside. We had plenty of space to spread out. We had a beautiful view of the lake. The swimming hole right off the deck was great. Thank you!
