A true desert escape, this newly remodeled home is situated on 2.5 fully-fenced private acres and is just a short 7 minute drive to downtown Joshua Tree, and 10 minute drive to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park.

The Space:
The home is designed with an eclectic mix of bohemian charm and mid-century modern comfort.

Best-suited for a romantic couple's trip or a small family retreat, the Golden Hour House has 1 bedroom, with a second small office/den space with a futon that would work for 1 additional adult or up to 2 kids. Please note that the office/den space is not a private room, it is situated between the bedroom and kitchen.

The cozy living room features a space to relax and watch a movie, and a separate music space to sit back and listen to vinyl records. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all spices and utensils with everything you need to cook and grill. The patio is the best place to catch sunrises with a cup of coffee or tea.

The backyard features a 4-person hot tub, a 6' stock tank cowboy tub pool, a propane BBQ and a propane fire pit to help unwind after exploring and to enjoy stargazing at night, as well as an outdoor dining table under bistro lights to enjoy dinner and a glass of wine during golden hour sunsets.

Guest Access:
The entire house is yours! There is a garage onsite and a backhouse that being used for storage that are both locked to guests.

The Neighborhood:
There is a good amount of space between the neighboring properties as they are all on a couple of acres.

Getting Around:
A personal car is necessary to get around. Ride share apps are not guaranteed in this area.

Other Things to Note:
Dogs:
The Golden Hour House welcomes your dogs! Please note that there is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Cats and other pets are not allowed.

Cowboy Tub & Hot Tub Service:
The cowboy tub pool and hot tub are serviced on Mondays & Thursdays, usually between 10:30am-12:00pm. Please note that these are estimated times. Our pool/spa technician works very hard to meet this time frame, but he may arrive slightly earlier or later as his schedule allows. I hope you understand and I appreciate your flexibility.

Guided Yoga, Sound Baths, or Meditation:
Please reach out to us if you'd like recommendations for yoga instructors, guided sound baths, or guided meditation! Often times instructors are available come directly to the house.

Trash & Recycling Service:
Friday mornings. The trash company will bring the cans out and back in.

Cleaning Fee:
100% of the cleaning fee goes directly to our hardworking cleaners.

EV Charger Plug:
There is a 32 Amp EV Charger Level 2,(NEMA 14-50, 32A/25ft,7.68KW) Portable Electric Vehicle Charging Station for Electric and Hybrid Vehicles that is free for guests to use. Please note you may need an adapter for your exact vehicle.
