NO HEAT in WINTER
Do NOT rent this house! Our flight was delayed due to a winter snowstorm and we arrived close to midnight to a house that had NO HEAT and the outside temps were in the 20’s. The house was freezing cold (indoor temp in the 50’s) and the owner/host knew full well that the furnace was broken. They had a few tiny space heaters in some of the rooms(that were on when we arrived) which barely warmed the air if you stood right next to it. We had to keep our winter coats on and literally froze for a few hours as we tried to sleep. We left as soon as morning came to find new lodging. This owner/host is very sneaky and knew the conditions of this house and had the nerve to tell us that the description said space heaters rather than heat. (The description never mentions space heaters) none of the 50 photos show any space heaters in the rooms. It should NEVER have been rented with NO HEAT. The washing machine is also broken , the listing says there is a dryer but what good is that if you can’t wash your clothes! The listing also mentions an in house gym, what a joke! It’s a small bedroom with queen bed and some miscellaneous metal equipment lying on the floor in the corner. All of the bedding, towels, toilet paper, etc are cheap and dingy. Do not trust this owner/host, he is not honest and was out of the country as we tried to communicate with him. Absolutely worst experience ever, do not come here.
