Need to touch base with the present? We've got a dedicated workspace for you complete with a vintage desk and chair. And when it's time to cook up a storm, our modern kitchen, filled with vintage charm and modern appliances, awaits. Enjoy meals in the dining area while gazing out at the desert expanse through large windows.

Step outside to your private desert panorama, fully fenced and complete with a wood-burning fire pit. Feel the warmth of the day fade and the cool desert evening take hold as you sit in comfortable Adirondack chairs under a sky that reveals the cosmos in all its glory.

Early riser? Our east-facing covered patio offers front-row seats to spectacular sunrises over the Bullion Mountains. In summer, find delight in our kiddie pool and prepare meals on the propane BBQ, creating memories around our outdoor dining area.

A short drive will lead you to Joshua Tree National Park for a day of exploration. At the day's end, retreat to our vintage bathroom featuring a pedestal sink and bathtub/shower combo, the perfect wind-down spot.

Great location & AC, but overall, not really functional

Pros:TV was excellent. AC worked well. We enjoyed kitchen table & patio. Cons:Advert as sleeping for 3. 1 Queen & 1 futon. The sofa was not a futon & was super dusty. No bedding for 3rd guest. We were fortunate we brought a sleeping bag. Nowhere to hang up a jacket or blouse. No hand towel in bathrm & only 1 washcloth. The bathrm could use another hook for hanging wet towels. Only 1 tea towel for wiping down the counter, stove, pans, hands & for drying dishes. The fridge had a dirty smear in it and some expired food, possibly from prior guests. When I asked about paper towels, I was told they were not allowed to have paper towels for guests. There was lots of cutesy stuff but overall, it was not a functional set up, esp. for 3 people. We made do as we were only staying for 2 nights. I asked for communications to be texted to me. I never received a check out list. I found out later it was e mailed to me.

I absolutely love the Joshua Tree National Park and the surrounding area. The park is so beautiful with lots of hiking trails. And the town is so much fun, there are amazing thrift stores, and the food scene is better than Los Angeles. If it's your first time to the desert or your 100th, you never want to leave.

During your stay at Blue Oasis, you'll have complete access to the entire property (on 5 acres with 1.5 fenced acres around the house) and its surrounding grounds, ensuring that you can fully enjoy the serene ambiance of the property and feel right at home.
