Amazing stay!! The host was awesome, she checked on me periodically and responded to my random questions quickly. The location is amazing. I got a rental car and almost feel like it was a complete waste of money due to how centrally located the location is, EVERYTHING is in walking distance. I saw some reviews regarding the air conditioning but the fan over the bed was so powerful, I needed a blanket. So if you’re concerned about the air conditioning, no worries, TMI, I’m para-menopausal and with the extreme heat/humidity index, the fan is amazing. I hope to stay at this location again in the future.

New Orleans Get-Away

The online listing is very accurate regarding the unit. It is very quaint and comfortable plus its in a great location... blocks from Bourbon Street and walkable distance to the French Market and Frenchman's Street. The only downside of the unit's location is that it very noisy at night...the windows/walls are poorly soundproofed...sounds like people are in the unit with you. Also, the unit needs a deep, deep clean specifically the bathroom and kitchen; to be truthful it was rather disgusting. I also had concerns with the overall safety of the building. The front door was hard to lock and many times was unlocked when we returned back to the unit. Plus, the chain-link that was an additional safety measure came out of the wood framing of the door/wall. However, the communication with the property manager was good...he answered in a timely manner. Given its location, cuteness and expense, overall, I'd give it an average rating. Hopefully, the project manager will address the cleanliness and safety since it was mentioned in other posts soon...I had thought he might by the time of our visit but not the case, then my rating would have been VERY GOOD!

So much to see, so close to your stay here. Host is quick to respond if you have any issues or questions. Very clean. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Perfect location

The apartment is beautiful and just as described. The convenience of location as well as having basic necessities was perfection. We absolutely loved staying here!

This apartment was perfect

Needed to take a little break… So went to New Orleans. Could not be more satisfied. This apartment was as listed and right off the beaten path. We could not ask for more.
