We really enjoyed our stay here at the Wandering Loon and would definitely rent again. The entrance ramp and 1st floor BR with en suite was key for us as we are four senior women and one has mobility issues. The house is well appointed and host Jennifer replied promptly to all questions.
We really enjoyed our stay in this house. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds were comfortable, and it is in a very quiet neighborhood. It was close to St. Michaels and Easton. The only issue was that there are no blinds on any of the 1st floor windows. As there are houses all around, some sort of blinds are needed. We would stay here again.
House was clean and well appointed. Had some challenges with streaming to the TV but otherwise this day was perfect. Very quiet neighborhood. Great proximity to St Michael’s.
We had a wonderful stay in this quaint cottage. Great space for our family to rest, eat well and rejuvenate. Absolutely loved being on a Tilghman Island and meeting delightful folks who are local at the Country Store and Two if by Sea! Close enough for shopping and dining on St. Michael’s and in Easton. Host was always available if needed. Someone told us “there’s nothing to do and not enough time to do it”! We could have used a few more days 😁
Perfect house for our family during a renunion weekend when we could not house everyone at our house on Tilghman. Beautiful home. Great location. Biking distance to everything on the island. Would highly recommend.
I came for some rest and quiet. This was a great choice. The house had all the necessities and was very spacious and clean. Easy drive into St. Michaels for dinner, shops, and touristy sites. Easy parking. Convenient ramp to get luggage into the house. This would be a great place for someone with low mobility: able to do everything on first floor with ramp entrance.
I stayed mostly on the island and walked about to see the docks and visit the local grocery (which is less than 5 minute walk around the corner).
My only caution: no window coverings on any of the first floor windows. This made me a little nervous at night as the neighbors could see if I was home (alone) or not. But the area seemed safe and the people were friendly.
The house was a beautiful quaint clean home. Great location and reasonably priced. Cute little town and not far from St Michael's. Communication with owner was easy and they were accommodating!
