The Little Red Cabin was absolutely perfect for three of us to stay for five nights on our annual trip to Michigan. The cabin is in a perfect location for access to Pine River. It was super clean and stacked with everything you would need for a summer trip (coffee, s’mores supplies, grill, firewood, etc.). We drank coffee every morning on the porch and enjoyed the fresh air and quiet.
My only comment is that the shower is standard for a little cabin - meaning that it is small. If you are a bigger person this may be a challenge for you.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back at the little red cabin in the future!
We had a lovely long weekend at the little red cabin. David was very responsive to questions and gave helpful suggestions when he couldn't help us directly. The cabin is well-stocked and comfortable. Our elderly dog did have some problems navigating the 3-4 steps between the kitchen/bedrooms and living area. Others with mobility issues should make a note of this. The neighborhood was secluded and mostly pretty quiet. It was a pleasure to get away Up North in Michigan for a few days and to use the little red cabin as our base.
Cabin was perfect for our stay. Has everything you need, clean, hosts communication was amazing. Cabin is small but perfect for a group for 2-4 adults. Hosts let us bring our dog, too. Would def stay again.
My family and I escaped the big city hustle almost 20 years ago to enjoy all that Northern Michigan has to offer. When the opportunity availed itself to purchase the Little Red Cabin, we could not resist!
Why they chose this property
We love the scenic Pine River corridor area and all that it has to offer. Whether you are traveling by canoe, kayak, bike, foot, skis, or snowmobile, there are miles and miles of beautiful streams and trails to explore.
What makes this property unique
The Little Red Cabin is known for being cozy and comfortable on the inside and quiet and peaceful on the outside. Our perfect day at The Little Red Cabin starts with coffee on the back porch followed by a day on the Pine River and finally ending with a campfire under a blanket of stars and Hemlock branches.
