This is one half of a duplex (behind green door). It is the larger half, as it has an extension, which houses the den/tv room.
I renovated the house myself. I am too in love with it to ever let it go.
This duplex has two floors, so you have to be able to handle stairs. It has a half-bath downstairs and a full one upstairs. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other a full bed, and there are two full-sized futons.
This house has lots of color. The space A washer and dryer are in the basement. I have painted it so doing laundry can be a pleasant experience. Half the basement has my long-term storage items. Guest access You have use of the yard and patio and front porch. You share those spaces with myself or other guests. The driveway in the back and the parking pad on the side are available for guests. The basement holds the washer and dryer, but I do have lots of items in storage on the other side of a curtain. Please do not disturb these things.

Our neice, her husband and our grand nephew had a wonderful stay in Spartanburg. The location was excellent close to many downtown activities. Th accommodations were spacious in a quiet neighborhood ideal for walking. Would highly recommend to those visiting Spartanburg.
The house was definitely older but was very clean and sits in a nice established neighborhood. It was just what we were looking for when booking a long weekend in Spartanburg.
We stayed for two nights for a dance competition. The house was very comfortable for 3 adults and 3 young girls. The beds were super cozy. It felt like a nice home away from home.
We needed a place to stay after a concert at the Peach Festival in Gaffney. The location was beautiful with surrounding well kept historic homes. Was a great value for the price. The shower had great water pressure and the beds were clean and comfy. Had a small issue with the lock getting in but the host was easily reached and quickly got us in. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely older home but needs some TLC. Finish work needed to bring the place up to grade. Kitchen was not well equipped with practical pots n' pans. Kuerig failed mid-week with no drip coffee-maker as a substitute. Door lock was very temperamental, making for some tense moments. Nice neighborhood and a great location for our visits with family.
In particular, this property was relatively easy to find thanks to Google. The area allowed easy access to shopping (my wife and daughter's favorite thing) and quick day trips. Visited the Cow Pen's battlefield, the Peachoid water tower in Gaffney, South Carolina and a few 1st round World Series softball games at Spartanburg's Tyger River Park. Each day of our stay ended at the ball park after visiting other revolutionary war battlefields.
We enjoyed the comfort of this older residence which allowed us enough privacy and access to numerous restaurants and gas stations. The rooms were smaller than average but reasonable for the three of us. I would not recommend this home for any larger or elderly groups.

Why they chose this property
Converse Heights is a great neighborhood. 1930's era. Lots of Craftsman and Neocolonial style houses. Big mansions, duplexes, and everything in between.
What makes this property unique
My house looks like it belongs in New England, but that makes it stand out.
