This house was perfect is a launching pad to the Olympic national Park. Very clean and comfortable with nice amenities, like an extra large TV and a speaker to play music. The deer running around the neighborhood was icing on the cake.
Great property with a great location. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. There are deer that just hang out in everyone’s yard. Humans don’t seem to frighten them in the least.
Property is close to downtown area yet far enough away to get away from the traffic and hustle and bustle. Property owner/host was so very helpful and attentive to our needs and communication was instant. The building is well kept outside and in. Very spacious and equipped with everything we needed! Would definitely recommend!!
We really loved the home, it's location and the feel of it. Two things though that weren't ideal was the internet connection, I needed it for work and it was very slow and the home only has an AC unit in the living room so as we came and went it was either on the warm side or the cool side probably due to older insulation. Other than that, would highly recommend it as a landing place to explore that beautiful area.
Family trip along the Washington coast. Convenient location, comfortable home with everything we needed. Great to do laundry mid trip. Comfy beds. The neighborhood deer were fun to watch. Close by coast and Olympic Park. Nice safe family neighborhood, I highly recommend!
Excellent Port Angeles home for Visiting Olympic National Park
Two friends from college days, we only stayed one night but I will see if this place is available next visit for more time. Its such a nice home with several bedrooms for us to each have our own room unlike a hotel. Its so close to so much to do there on the Olympic Peninsula. We hiked different places in the day and then enjoyed the nearby restaurants in evenings. The home is cute, comfortable, very clean and light. Quiet neighborhood. Has a nice little table and chairs to eat outside if you want. Like I said, I plan to come back as I just live in Seattle and this will be great place for a home base while visiting nearby trail and beaches, etc. Can't say enough good things about it!
I really enjoyed our stay at the history house! I loved all the little artifacts and the stories behind them. The house was nice and clean, with a full kitchen and large kitchen. Its close to Port Angeles and Olympic National Park.
The house was lovely. It was clean and there was plenty of room for our family to spread out. The location was perfect. It was a great neighborhood and we were only an 8 minute drive from downtown. My kids especially liked watching the deer that would roam the neighborhood each morning and evening. We also appreciated the games that were there for us to use. We love games and played each night after supper. I would highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.
This was a quick stay on our Pacific Northwest tour.
Home had everything we need and a welcoming neighborhood.
We sat on the front porch a bit and enjoyed the weather as we watched deer walk around the neighborhood.
Perfect for 3 adults and my 9 year old!
We stayed the night in Port Angeles during our ride of the Olympic Discovery Trail. The house was perfect for us. It was a great for getting dinner in the evening and as starting point for the next segment of the trail. The house was very clean and exactly as advertised. I would stay there again.
Pictures do not do this house justice. We absolutely loved our stay here and would return again!
We are a family of four (kids' age: 14 &11) and this was one of our stops on a 2-week road trip we took through the PNW. The location was a quick 5-minute drive from the Ferry Terminal and 10 minutes to the entrance of Olympic National Park. Shireen was very responsive and helpful upon check-in and during our stay.
This spot was perfect for our family of 3 to explore Olympic! We stayed 3 nights, so we had 2 full days in ONP. This gave us time to visit the Hoh rainforest and Sol Duc on the first day. Then we went to Marymere Falls, Devil’s Punchbowl, and Hurricane Hill on the second day.
This home was super clean, comfortable, and cozy with plenty of room for the 3 of us. The location made the park very accessible. As a fun perk, the neighbor across the street feeds the deer, so you’ll have lots of four-legged friends every morning and night!
Great spot! Definitely recommend.
We came to Port Angeles to visit family and loved our stay. The residence is clean and tidy with plenty of bedding and towels. The neighborhood is very quiet and nice. Close to the water. We would definitely stay there again.
Traveled up from California for a mountain bike race, NW Cup, at Dry Hill. Perfect amount of space and amenities. Close to everything! Would stay again, highly recommend.
We loved our stay here. The property was clean and nice. The hosts are close by, kind and responsive. Everything is close by and there’s a great view of the water!
Cozy home, perfect place to put your feet up after a long day of driving and sight seeing. I would definitely stay again. The deer walking around the neighborhood are precious!
We had a great time at the history house. It was cozy and comfortable! The location was fun, we could see the bay in the distance and enjoyed watching the local deer play.
Enjoyed the quite neighborhood and the the deer
The only thing that was a misperception with the on line pictures did not show unit # 2 next to the cute deck with a table and chairs and umbrella for unit #3 In fact there was not a number on the door at all, on line but there is now!
This was a very comfortable apartment, with a spacious well equipped kitchen. I really appreciated the spices, coffee and paper goods that were in adequate supply. Close to wonderful hiking and near the waterfront.
