Nice location. Very short drive to area attractions. Make sure to visit the Ice Cream Shop!
We are fairly discriminating but to us the kitchen although beautiful, wasn’t as clean as we like. All and all it was a very nice stay with nice space. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus for us.
Return customer! Love the area and convenience to activities! Owners are quick to respond when questions arose! Plus a little snow for the grandkids to enjoy made our trip complete!
6 adults + 5 boys 2-10 enjoyed Memorial Day Weekend at Deep Creek. Plenty of beds, baths, seating and a well outfitted kitchen. Baby gates to upper and lower levels a plus for families with 'littles' especially with spiral staircase to second floor. No lake view but easy access to all the area has to offer. Thanks for sharing your home away from home.
There was plenty of space for all 13 of us. The location was great was in minutes of everything.

Beautiful Cabin Getaway
We had a wonderful stay! The home is beautiful and very well stocked. The master bedroom is HUGE and the new basement level was gorgeous! We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Cheryl & Kaan were absolutely wonderful to rent from. They are very informative and answered every question thrown at them very promptly. I look forward to future stays in this beautiful home.

Great Get Away
This home is beautiful! We skiied the whole week with our kids and it was so nice to return home after a long day on the slopes to such comfort. House was well stocked and clean. Plenty of space and close by slopes and stores. A great escape from normal life! Thanks!
This mostly remodeled home is close to Deep Creek Lake and marina rentals. We enjoyed the open layout, fire ring, grill and patio dining. It had many of the items we needed for our 9 month old grandson and the kitchen provided what was needed to prepare all our meals. On the downside, the beds were harder than any of us preferred and the yard had only a small flat area for outside games.

Trip with friends
We had a great stay! Short drive to Wisp. Our visit was with 3 families, a total of 5 adults and 8 kids. We had plenty of room. The kids loved the lower level with the pool table and room with bunk beds. It was a great ski weekend. Even used the outdoor grill! Need snow boots though.
We came together for a family reunion at this property. Perfect location for family coming from Raleigh, Columbus, and NYC. We were so enchanted with the town. The house is minutes from the lake, and 5-15 minutes from everything you need. We had s’mores in the yard around a giant fire pit with plenty of Adirondack chairs. Many game nights on the deck or in the great room. Hosts were great and very responsive. When you review the listing, make sure your party is comfortable with the winding staircase - my family was, but my older relatives preferred the main and lower levels. Game table in the basement was a hit with the kids and young adults. 100% would recommend!
Very clean, had lots of amenities, and lots of space! Nice location and just a great place to relax. The place is absolutely great and we enjoyed doing nothing (seriously nothing :) When you are on the go 300+ days of the year, you look forward to a week of doing nothing and this home provides a nice quiet place to just enjoy the peace and quiet. We saw deer on our first night there. Plenty of stuff to do around town though. One of our favorite places to go for coffee is Traders which is right around the corner and don’t forget to get pizza from Brenda’s. Firefly farms, about a 15 min drive towards Accident, Md is a nice cheese shop that we always enjoy visiting. Thanks again for sharing your home. We loved our stay!

Liked: Communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
access only by 4x4 cars.
House is located on an uphill access road. We came after Xmas, a day after a snow event. The uphill access road and the house driveway were covered with snow and ice and very slippery. After several attempts to climb with my Toyota Highlander, I gave up and had to park a few miles away in a shopping center. Luckily, my daughter came with a 4x4 and had to take us to the house. The main entrance to the house was covered with several inches of snow during our entire stay, and we could only enter through the basement door, which was also covered by snow/ice.
The house itself was so so. It is quite old and has a tiny kitchen.
Overall, it was not a place to remember. I just hope that the owner will pay more attention to shovel and salt the driveway. In winter, guests should be told (not only in the fine print) that they need a 4X4 to access the house.

Very positive experience!
This is an excellent house complimented by a very responsive owner. The house itself is beautiful and the amenities as listed are accurate - especially the part about being great for kids. It was very clean and everything was in very close proximity including the state park, a shop and save for groceries, restaurants, etc.
We've stayed other places in deep creek that felt as though we were just staying in a hotel or in another suburban neighborhood but the BRCM lodge is nicely nestled away so you truly have that "outdoorsy" feel.
One of the best parts for my family was the fire pit. I grew up camping and loving the campfires at the end of the day with hot dogs and s'mores all around. The house location and fire pit give you that same campfire feel but without all the hassles of typical camping such as sleeping on rocks, no running water, or accessibility to hungry bears, to name a few which are hard to deal with when you have a 2 and 1 year old.
The owners are very responsive to any house issues as well - not that we had any that were major in the slightest. All questions we had were answered very promptly by the owners themselves - even one as trivial as if or if not they got the NFL network (the Steelers were playing Thursday night while we were there). We also could not find a lighter in the house but a quick email to the owner and within 2 minutes we had a response and a fire going not long after. Also important to note, the response came while the owners were on vacation themselves in Disney!
All in all this was a great place and experience and we would recommend the place to anyone looking for a stay in the deep creek area.
We had a wonderful stay. The house was just right for 9 women on a reunion trip. Four full bathrooms and lots of beds. Place was very clean and we appreciated that.
The great room had comfortable furniture and lots of room. It was so nice to have a large dining table that easily accommodated all of us. The outside gas grill worked great and the white lights around it was a nice touch. Our weather was cool so we had a nice fire in the fire pit.
We hiked at Swallow Falls and Deep Creek State Parks. The only thing missing was a hot tub to soak in after our long hikes!
All in all a great trip. Highly recommend the house and the hosts.
We had such a great time! The place was perfect for all ages which we had 2-10. Quite and away from traffic. Great area for kids to play outside and perfect for relaxing by the fire pit. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. It was so nice that there was altar baby gates at steps and pack and play there. We have no complaints!
I knew we were going to have a great week when we were greeted by deer as we unloaded the cars.
We enjoyed the family-sized table for meals and activities. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for our family of 11. We enjoyed sitting around the fire ring for mountain pies, foil dinners and s'mores. We had periodic rain during our stay, but not enough to ruin our plans for hiking and kayaking.
Everyone enjoyed our stay at your home!
The property was as described and the owners have been communicating with us throughout the planning of the trip. I appreciated the transparency in all communications and promptness of responses. Beautiful cabin with comfortable accommodations.
Property was clean and kid-friendly! Kitchen was stocked with appliances. TV Roku was great for hanging out inside. Fire pit and grass area was great for the kids and adults to spend time outside.

About the host

We have 4 girls 11 and under (including a set of TWINS!) and look forward to enjoying time in the summer on the lake and skiing during the winter!!
Why they chose this property
Kaan is in the construction industry and recognizes quality workmanship. The house is beautifully built, as you will see. The giant picture windows afford a truly beautiful view - with peek-a-boo lake views in the winter (when the trees drop their leaves) and beautiful greenery in the summer. And the circular staircase is just simply FUN!
What makes this property unique
circular staircase, giant windows, very well-stocked kitchen, air hockey table, pool table, bunk room in the basement that sleeps 6!
