Emerald Cove I is a 9 story mid-size luxury condo in the heart of quiet, family oriented Windy Hill section of North Myrtle Beach. It has minimal traffic flow yet is located close to Barefoot Landing, Restaurant Row, live theater entertainment, and several shopping malls and golf courses. The condo has a pool and hot tub as well.

This beautifully decorated, fifth floor, condo was purchased in November 2010 and has been completely refurbished. Sliding doors off the master bedroom and den offer spectacular views of the ocean and beach.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a private bath that has a jetted tub, double vanity sinks, and a separate shower. It has sliding doors for a breath taking view of the ocean as well as a new wall mounted flatscreen tv with built in dvd.

The second bedroom has a king-size bed and a private spacious bath. Wall mounted flat screen tv and dvd. The third bedroom has a full and twin bed with adjoining full bath and wall mounted flat screen tv.
The spacious living room has two sofas which fold out for a queen bed if extra room is needed. It also has a recliner for watching new flatscreen tv, dvd, and vcr.

The fully equipped kitchen has lots of gadgets for easy use. New cookware set for all your cooking needs.

All baths and hall have new tile floors. Bedrooms floors have new carpet.

Overflow parking is available across the street for your convenience.

Mimi’s Getaway Vacation

We found Mimi’s to be very clean with great amenities in a great location centrally located to the area we enjoy. Great views of the beach and pool area. HVAC worked perfectly and the condo was equipped for all our needs. It was a great vacation for us and we hope to return soon!

Pam is a great host, and her condo did not disappoint! Plenty of space to accommodate our group of 6 adults for the week. Great location in North Myrtle Beach. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great getaway

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was exactly the way it's described, and we felt right at home. The location was great: close to shopping, mini golf, and many restaurants. It was never too crowded, although it's possible that spring break isn't the busiest time of year. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Family Getaway

Condo could not have been in a better spot. Very convenient to everywhere, while also in an area with a quiet street (no car noise at night). Large balcony with great furniture—could sit there all day and be content. Clean pool open til 10 with a hot tub. Well manicured beach access. Loved the bedrooms each having their own bathroom, and the washer/dryer made doing laundry easy. One elevator but never had to wait. Property was so clean and my entire group (ages 2mo, 6y, 9y, 38y, 42y, 69y and 70y) loved this spot. Also, I messaged the owner thru VRBO to ask a question when we arrived and she promptly called me. Very obvious this place is well loved and well taken care of—would definitely book again.

Beautiful views, wonderful owners

We stayed at Mimi's Getaway for a week. The condo was clean, spacious and very well appointed. The kitchen was well equipped. The views were beautiful and the location was great. Pam was fantastic to deal with. Highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful Experience

The condo is beautiful and comes with great amenities. The oceanfront view from the master bedroom is wonderful. You can even access the balcony from the master bedroom directly to watch the sun rise. The Windy Hill area is very quiet too. I can't wait to stay here again.

Wonderful Week

We had a wonderful week at Mimi's Getaway. The condo was very comfortable and the the kitchen was stocked better than any condo I have ever rented. We really enjoyed the sunrise over the Atlantic and even the full moon too. Pam was very easy to work with. I would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Myrtle Beach.

Loved this place!

This condo is super clean and comfortable. It’s just a few blocks from Barefoot landing. The balcony is huge with nice furniture. Beds are comfortable. Beach is easy to get to. Pool and hot tub are clean and relaxing. People are friendly and it just felt safe and inviting. The host is very friendly and my wife loved her decorations. Check in and out is simple. I highly recommend this condo and will no doubt be back.

Wonderful Condo With Awesome Views

We absolutely loved this condo and the owner was so nice to work with. The views from the balcony are spectacular and the balcony is very large and spacious.The entire condo is very roomy and clean. The updated appliances were also very nice. Could not be happier overall with everything and can't wait to come back! What a great place!

Beautiful Inside Decorations

I loved this condo, it was so beautifully decorated to fit the ocean view we had on our balcony! Everything was so spacious, clean and comfortable. Lots of room for sleeping and leisure time. Although parking was a bit small space and confusing at first it was convenient and not too busy. The pool and hot tub wasn’t up and running. We were a little disappointed about that, temperature was cooler than expected so we couldn’t enjoy the outside as much as we hoped. Over all no complaints at all! Definitely will be rebooking soon!

The owner is fantastic to work with.

This was my 2nd time staying at this condo, and I will definitely return in the future as I am able. Several updates have occurred since my first stay in 2013 with some friends...new tile in the main areas of the condo, furniture in the master bedroom has been painted and has a fresh, clean look, dining room furniture has been re-upholstered, etc. The owners have made some thoughtful updates, and their love of the place shows. The condo is a great size, and doesn't feel as cramped and narrow as a lot of condos in the Myrtle/N Myrtle area tend to be. The Windy Hill area where this condo is located is a great spot; never feels very crowded, and you're within such a short, driving distance of Barefoot Landing and several restaurants. There's a smaller condo building to the right of Emerald Cove I, so that helps on keeping down the beach crowds. For me, probably the best thing about renting this condo is dealing with the owner, Pam, and is the reason I rate this place 5 stars. Such a pleasure to work with, very easy-going and accommodating. This second trip at the condo was just me, and yes, a 3-bedroom condo was more space than 1 person needed, but it was worth it to pay a little extra to work with an owner that I know is so nice. I was glad to pay for peace of mind, really. She responds quickly to emails, calls or texts and never makes you feel as though you're bothering her, even with the slightest question. Parking can be limited at times, because there are only maybe 12 parking spaces (plus or minus a couple, I didn't count) underneath the building. But, the overflow lot is just caddy-cornered across the street and took maybe 15-20 seconds to get to your car; a very short walk. It's actually better than trying to navigate your way through some of those huge parking decks many of the buildings have. I actually preferred parking over there, because it was nice to get in a few extra steps in the ocean breeze. But, if mobility issues are a concern and you don't have handicapped parking, that may be something to think about. But, there is plenty of space for someone to drop you off, and then they could park across the street, so I really don't think it'd be much of an issue (and that's coming from a nurse who is mindful of such issues). You could certainly discuss those type of concerns with Pam to see if this would be a fit for you. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of my friends staying here.

Perfect location!

The beach views and morning sunrise were spectacular. Close to everything, but off the beaten path enough to be quiet. The condo had plenty of space - 3BR/ baths gave each of us our own space and the common areas were great for gathering. My daughter loved the pool and I enjoyed the sunshine

We owned a two bedroom condo for eleven years. With our growing family of twin grandsons, we needed a larger place and were fortunate enough to find our dream home, right on the ocean. We are within walking distance of our other condo so we are still in our favorite area. We love being here with friends and family. That is what vacation is all about.

Why they chose this property

We have always loved this section of North Myrtle Beach. Windy Hill has a wide beach and has minimal traffic. Close proximity to the airport, golf and shopping are always a plus.

What makes this property unique

Only a few steps to the water. Para-sailing and banana boats rentals are a few blocks away. Easy access to Barefoot Landing and grocery store only a mile away. Fifth floor unit gives wonderful panoramic view of the beach.
