Relax with the whole family at this peaceful, newly built home. Located about a mile from downtown Fayetteville and 1.5 miles from the New River Gorge, enjoy all that Fayetteville has to offer from a private, two-bedroom, two-bathroom home. Relax in the shade on the covered front porch, and enjoy the sunshine from the outdoor seating and dining table on the back porch. Use the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor gas grill for home cooked meals between your West Virginia adventures.

Please note: The house is located in a quiet residential area on a county road. The road is gravel and is what the county calls an "unimproved" road. A high-clearance vehicle is NOT required to navigate the 150 yards or so of the road—just drive slowly. However, in extreme winter conditions, all-wheel drive can be necessary. If booking in the winter and you do not have AWD, please let us know so we can provide alternatives and insure your trip goes smoothly.

Perfect Getaway

From the property to the bridge and National Park is only about 2 miles. We really enjoyed driving down to Gautley bridge and the area waterfalls as well. The house was immaculate and we really enjoyed having multiple areas to gather inside and out.

Great Location

Great location close to the New River Gorge National Park. Very clean home with all the little extras that come in handy when traveling. There were 4 adults staying at this home, and it was just the right size for all of us.

Comfortable home

Clean and new property with great attention to details creating a nice homey feel. Hand soaps and body washes are high quality brands. Kitchen is well equipped. Location is convenient to Fayetteville, a great small town with several dining options, and to New River Gorge. The short roadway to the property is rough.

Perfect Cabin

Our visit to the New River Gorge National Park and surrounding area was such a treat. Brigitte’s cabin property added so much to our enjoyment. It has been thoughtfully decorated and maintained. The cabin is conveniently located near town, shopping and the park. We made wonderful memories in West Virginia.

Great Stay

Great location near NRG

Great stay for 2 nights for Bridge Day 2024. Beds were comfortable, house very clean and well decorated, new appliances and kitchen well stocked, good water pressure and soft towels. Overall excellent stay and would definitively recommend.

Short Getaway

The home and interior features were very pleasing. Clean, neat and overall pleasant. The outside property and surrounding area were a little more cramped than expected, with neighbors close by. But it was a good location to explore the New River Gorge National Park and we were pleased overall with the rental.

Great home base for NRG

Perfect home base for New River Gorge park and the surrounding area for a small family or friends trip. Plenty of dishes and cookware to make your own food. Very clean, no complaints!

Lovely house

We had an amazing time in this lovely house. Clean, enough space and privacy with four adults. Loved the deck and rocking chairs. Close to the town, supermarket and great restaurants.

Adorable spot to stay

This cottage was very cute and comfortable. Great location for exploring New River Gorge National Park. If you arrive after dark pay close attention to the "street" it's not paved and has a large rut - it's easy to navigate around as long as you know to look for it.

Lovely vacation spot

We enjoyed our three night stay while visiting New River Gorge National Park. The house is brand new—very clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed coming back from day of hiking or rafting to the quiet countryside just a 5 minute drive from the park. We would love to come back next year!

Perfect place to explore New River Gorge

This VRBO is a true home away from home not far from the New River Gorge Bridge. It is clean and spacious. The setting is lovely. Kitchen and grill made it easy to relax and eat in. Communication with Brigitte was easy. Recommend and would revisit for sure.

Lovely 2 bedroom cottage

Clean, new, 2 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, well equipped, comfortable beds, nice porch and deck. Not as secluded in the country as we expected. Would probably stay there again. Owner was nice and helpful.

Wonderful Cabin!

Nice touches made this home feel welcoming

There were a lot of things we liked about this house. All in all, it was very welcoming and we felt at home. The welcoming chocolates, a well-supplied kitchen, a comfortable bed, and excellent instructions for arrival and checkout, all gave us peace of mind. Although the owners lived nearby, we never felt that we were being watched or under scrutiny, and communication with them was friendly and immediate. The deck was roomy and nice. We had a pleasant surprise when my husband, who likes to look at stars/constellations at night, walked out onto the deck and had a very clear sky with lots of stars! Location was excellent with lots of outdoor activities nearby. Inside, the TV with its access to streaming services was very good. In sum, this rental was excellent!

Wonderful home!!!

Had a great time and this home was so perfect for my husband and myself and our daughter. It was so clean and such a great layout. Was just perfect. Brigette, the host, was so responsive and helpful with suggestions for restaurants etc. would definitely stay here again if we were to visit again.

Beautiful cabin

The carbon was cute, well cared for, clean and had about everything you need. It was in a perfect location and Brigitte was very responsive. Highly recommend this place. If we go back to the New River Gorge we will look to stay here again.

Easter Weekend

This house was perfect! Spotless clean-it felt like we were the 1st guest. The house is very close to town and all the activities . The New River Gorge was awesome to hike-beautiful!The local restaurants were great-wonderful trip ! Want to do the cat walk hike at the New Gorge Bridge-so we will def be back !The hosts were nice to work with !!!!

We spend as much time as possible in West Virginia's rivers, lakes, and mountains, and we'd love to share it all with you!
