Such a beautiful place

We rented this in June 2023. I don’t think it had been rented much because it had very little wear and tear. I didn’t realize how beautiful the property really would be. The description just does not do it justice. The monkeys came right to the camp several times. The birds were everywhere. Golifito bay is right there. I really loved this place. The fans keep you pretty cool at night and we would all just take a cool outdoor shower before bed and slept well. I would definitely recommend this place for someone who likes a minimalist approach and doesn’t have to have all the western amenities while traveling

From Small Cabin to Jungle Kingdom

I live in the States, but Costa Rica has me hooked like a toucan on a mango. I bought this little piece of paradise in 2019 and built a small cabin, thinking, “This is perfect for some quiet time.” Fast forward a couple of years, and suddenly I’ve got more cabins. loved it so much that I bought a few more parcels, and now we have The Glamping Tent, The Kraken Cabin, The Snail House, and The Twisted Fairy Treehouse. Yes, a Twisted Fairy Treehouse (because why not throw in a little magic?). I’m convinced the jungle just invited me to build more places for people to stay.

I want everyone to experience the jungle as I do—just with fewer mosquitoes and more creature comforts (you’re welcome). I come down as often as I can to check on everything, but the real fun comes when I read the reviews. Some guests think the jungle’s alive—others swear they saw a monkey giving them the side-eye. I’m just here for the adventure… and maybe a few more properties.

Who knows? Next, I might build a Sloth Spa—because, honestly, who wouldn’t want to relax like a sloth in Costa Rica?

But the best part? Reading the reviews from guests. Some people are convinced they’ve seen a sloth doing yoga. Others are questioning if the jungle is secretly plotting something (it’s just the wind, I swear).

Why they chose this property

Why do I enjoy this area? Well, let me count the ways. First off, the jungle is like a never-ending episode of National Geographic, only with more monkeys and fewer commercials. There’s always something happening—whether it’s a toucan showing off its fashion sense or a sloth slowly winning the “most chill creature” competition.

The locals here are incredibly friendly and inviting. They’ll greet you with a smile that makes you feel like you’ve known them for years. You might even find yourself invited to dinner by someone you’ve never met, but who’s suddenly your best friend because you both love rice and beans.

Speaking of food, the simple but delicious meals are basically the culinary equivalent of a hug. I swear, I’ve eaten rice and beans here more times than I can count, and I still look forward to it every day. It’s like comfort food, but without the guilt of eating five slices of pizza.

And finally, the pace here is so relaxing that you could lose track of time… and probably your keys, too, but who cares? Everything slows down, including the sloths, and it’s honestly the best feeling in the world.

So, yeah. That’s why I enjoy this area. If you don’t mind slowing down and living like a sloth (in the best way), this place is for you!
