We loved our stay at the Lone Star Landing! Location was perfect close to everything we wanted to do, 5 minute drive to the Riverwalk area. The home was perfect, cozy, cute and had everything we could possibly need. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Thanks for letting us stay.
Was very nice and clean. Everything was as it said it would be. Neighborhood looked a little sketchy but was actually nice and quiet. No problems and would stay there again.
Overall the property and owner response was great. Location to downtown was convenient. Very close to unique restaurants and bars. The home was up for sale so we did have a few random cars pull up in front but never came to the door. It is an "up and coming" neighborhood for sure. Never really felt unsafe but wouldn't go for long walks.
The house was very clean and the hot tub was awesome in the evenings to relax in. The neighborhood appears to be a bit older and somewhat “sketchy” but we didn’t have a single problem and it wasn’t a problem at all. No one bothered us and it felt very safe once we had a moment to get acclimated. Don’t let that deter you! The house is great! We were in San Antonio for my daughters bmt graduation and it was super easy to get to Lackland from the location. It took about 10 minutes even in the mornings. Our party was myself, my husband, and 2 teen friends of my daughters with my daughters dad and uncle spending the days there with us and it never felt too small. It was a perfect house for a 4 day trip. We will be staying there in the future if we ever have another graduation to attend in the future!day trip.
Great property. Very updated, clean and well supplied. Several extras to make your stay even better. The location was a little sketchy, but once inside felt safe.
Long story short - the pictures are very accurate and up-to-date, it's a really nice property that's been remodeled really nicely. Very clean, neat, cozy vibe. The owner was super friendly and very responsive which counts for a lot. The "rules" are very simple and fair no surprises, there were nice little homey touches. Would definitely go back, HIGHLY RECOMMENDSide note - there are a lot of train tracks in the neighborhoods around the house, and there seem to be a lot of trains at times, so budget a little extra time to get to wherever you're going haha.
Super cute home and perfect for our business getaway.
The house was conveniently located for our stay. Super cute and clean. It featured everything we needed. The hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of our day full of business meetings.
The place was perfect for our anniversary. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. The master bedroom was very nicely laid out and the entire house was well equipped. The backyard was very nice and relaxing and our dogs loved the space.
The home & location were perfect for our needs. We were so close to all of the downtown historic sites that we could do multiple events each day we were there. And we could rest in between day and evening activities. Beds are comfy. The kitchen is well stocked. Would definitely stay there again.
What a beautiful house and the owners had such well appointed extras for us. Don't let the neighborhood scare you off. It looks like a neighborhood being revitalized so some house have started and some not. But the location to the Alamo and Riverwalk is great and we did the Natural Bridge caverns too which was only 25 min away. The hot tub was a great extra that we enjoyed. Also we brought our pup and were welcomed with a dog bed and crate, bowls, toys and a jar of treats!! We are coffee drinkers and happy to see the Keurig with Kcups and creams and such ready to go. Plenty of room for us. We were two families of three (each family has a 10 year old boy) and we had plenty of space. The place has all the updates. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
Our stay here was wonderful. The host has everything set up, in my opinion, perfectly. They even had a very nice setup for our dog.
We will definitely stay here again if it's available for our next trip to San Antonio.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at The Lone Star Landing. The home was clean and spacious just as the photos illustrate. Check in was easy, we were about 8 min away from Downtown SA which made it easily accessible to every place we wanted to visit. The hot tub was a great perk. Neighbors were quiet and kept to themselves. Thank you @ The Lone Star Landing for hosting such a quaint place for us.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Lone star landing. Very cozy atmosphere. We had a little family reunion and this place was just what we needed. We arranged for child and pet friendly and were surprised with access to a travel crib, toys, and dog bed and a crate. Very flexible and accessible to chat with our host. 100% recommend!
We enjoyed our stay here. It was just the right size for us. The place was clean and neighborhood was quiet.

Why they chose this property
The Lone Star District is a historic neighborhood and has been around since the 1800s. It gets its name from the old Lone Star Beer Brewery which boarders the neighborhood.
Over the last few years the neighborhood has received a lot of attention from investors and new residents. You will see that many of the homes are newly renovated, but some are still original.
The neighborhood is quiet and welcoming. We look forward to additional improvements as time goes on and as the Lone Star District is eventually transformed into something amazing.
