Cozy Cottage in the woods on a mountainside just minutes from downtown Asheville. Set in a peaceful, pastoral setting, enjoy panoramic views from the wraparound deck and loft. The deck has plenty of outdoor seating for relaxing and dining. Inside, the open living area has a vaulted ceiling and loft. It is comfortably furnished and well equipped. The kitchen has a range with oven, microwave, refrigerator, ice maker, disposal, and dishwasher. Dishes, flatware, glassware, pots and pans are provided. There is WIFI, a large flat screen TV for streaming, and a gas log stove for Fall and Winter evenings. The cozy cottage offers the best of both worlds. You can relax here, away from it all, and in a manner of minutes enjoy the Biltmore, local breweries, fine dining, entertainment, arts, and shopping that are unique to Asheville. 2.2 miles to downtown Asheville, or three miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway where you can sight-see, bike or hike.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Remove sheets and pillow cases and place near washer in bathroom along with towels. Please set thermostat to 55 degrees in winter and off in summer.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No smoking or pets. Parking is limited to 2 automobiles. Property is too small for 5 adults and has only one bathroom.

Great little cabin, the bed was too soft for me so it made sleep difficult. Daughter tried to sleep on the futon in the loft and said it was not a good nights sleep. She liked the twin bed better. Nice cabin, a little tough to find. Owner did not send me entry instructions so we arrived a bit blind and had to call to get the entry code (the down side, cell phone service is bad in the area). Good thing we had our portable Starlink with us or we would have had to drive back down the hill to contact him.

The cabin was a perfect stay, very comfortable, beds were comfortable including the loft bed. The view from the deck was beautiful and the area was quiet and peaceful. Getting to everything was quick and easy, only about 15 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go. Every interaction I had with the hosts was met with a quick response. Checking in and out was simple. We really loved our stay here and plan to book again.

Originally purchased this property as a second home because of its location in the mountains and only 2.2 miles to downtown Asheville with all the restaurants, shops, breweries, art galleries, and its proximity to white water rafting, kayaking, and hiking. We are now glad to share the cozy cottage with other vacationers. Strive to keep it well maintained, well equipped, comfortable, and a good value. It is a great space for families with young children or four adults.
