We had a great time while in central Illinois. The house was super cute and the perfect location for all we wanted to do. Thank you to the host for being super responsive when we had questions.
What a beautiful old house very clean and roomie love the back deck and sunroom outside. the owners were absolutely wonderful great communication. We will definitely stay there again. Very close to Illinois Wesleyan . Pet friendly. Absolutely five stars.
Adorable, comfortable, home. We felt secure. Beds were comfortable. Host let us know about what we needed and about personality traits of the home to be aware of. We had 5 adults here.
We visited the area to adopt a puppy from Pet Central Helps in Normal (awesome facility). The house is a charming historical property; centrally located within minutes of restaurants, shopping and puppy location. The temps were freezing, so, we mainly stayed indoors. Comfortable and room to spread out. Both bedrooms are upstairs which could be a problem for someone with mobility issues, but not a problem for us. Stairs are wide and have a carpeted runner. Carly was quick to respond and very hospitable. Overall, a comfortable stay with everything we needed. We’d stay there again.
Great location and access to Bloomington restaurants and night life as well as shopping. Stayed here with my girlfriend and hosted my son and grandson. The owners are quick to respond and everything was exactly as advertised! Absolutely trying to come back and stay here again soon!!
We traveled with an infant and dog for the holidays. The house had a pack n play and infant tub which were so helpful and a fenced in yard. The host responded quickly to any questions asked. Will definitely use again!
We needed a place to stay while our home was being renovated. Carly has an amazing house and was super easy to work with and made it easy on us. We only needed 3.5 days and she was very amenable to our needs. Highly recommend
Cozy well located home. We were visiting our daughter and grandchildren who loved sleeping over.
Everything as described and quite comfortable.
Thanks, Carly
This property has charm and is located close to ISU and the Centennial Trail which was perfect for walking our dog. Would definitely recommend and will come back for sure.
The property is a cute old house in a quiet neighborhood in Bloomington. It is convenient to the Ewing cultural center and centrally located with easy access to everything in town.
We loved this house! The space was perfect for our family and had everything we needed. The upstairs bathroom is newly redone the sink was worked on before we got there and did have a little problem draining, but Carly was very accommodating and it got resolved. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was nice to have shampoo/body wash in the shower and some basic spices, coffee filters and paper goods stocked in the house. The only downfall is that we probably won’t have an opportunity to stay here again an our daughter graduated from ISU. 😊
Cute house, charmingly decorated. Modernized appropriately. Some small issues: towel bar came off wall, shower leaked into laundry room on first floor, Sink in upstairs bathroom would not drain, some window shades wouldn’t open, no manual for house (still don’t know how to turn on ceiling fans in main bedroom). Also, dark paint on many walls with filament light bulbs meant insufficient lighting. All of these the owner is addressing, which is all one could ask. We hope to be back again.
The location was great for our needs and pet friendly! Felt safe walking our dog in the neighborhood at night. Older home has been updated, the new shower was awesome, great pressure! The half bath on the main floor was a bonus. Comfortable bed and furniture. Responsive host, we possibly needed to extend our stay. Initially that was not an option, when it became available, she let me know straight away.
This place is SO cute inside --be ready to update your interior decor #goals! The host was also wonderful, flexible, and responsive. No complaints!
Friendly tip for anyone bringing their pup: there IS a small fence, but it's not a strong one, and would be easy for a strong pup like mine, or a large one, to breach. Thankfully there is a tie-out if needed, and the host had great suggestions for us. In the end, it wasn't a big deal to just take her out on a leash for the night. Having a pup-friendly place to stay for a few days was far more important to me, and this definitely was!
Comfy beds, cute decor, plenty of space to spread out, which is impressive for such a cute little house.
Thanks, Carly, for a great stay!
We stayed at this home for 2.5 months while ours was under construction. The host is very quick with communication and extremely accommodating - she even sent an infant bath tub for our baby to use. The house is well stocked with all of the essentials, super clean, and feels very homey. We could not have found a better place! Definitely a five star stay.
