Laconia cabin

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were as described in the listing. Matts cabin is smoke free, rustic and clean with tremendous views. Matt is a good host and was both available and responsive to all of our questions. We would rent Matts cabin again if we travel to Laconia in the future.

Infestation

The Pros: The view is amazing and the owner was very responsive and stopped by same day to install the air conditioners. The bed was very comfy The Cons: The sheer number of spiders, wasps, and ants that we found INSIDE the house on the furniture, floors, counters, walls, and even the bed was ridiculous. We couldn’t keep anything on the floor or counters without ants getting on everything. I know it’s an old house but I don’t feel we should have to deal with this on vacation.

Hi, my wife and I, and our two children, love to travel and experience new places. We have used STRs a number of times when travelling, and have really enjoyed our experiences. I own a Chalet that my grandfather built in the 1960s with a view of Lake Winnipesaukee, Gunstock Mountain, and has been available to rent for the past 6 years.

Why they chose this property

We are on top of the world here, with amazing views. Rustic cabin style feel, but with all the amenities we cherish...wifi, smart tv, foosball, and an outdoor fire pit!

What makes this property unique

Amazing, unbelievable views! Quiet location, close to all the fun things to do in the Lakes Region.
