The Condo:
Updated 1BR Studio Condo features a rainfall shower and a full kitchen (refrigerator/freezer, microwave, oven, and coffee maker) with some retro touches. For your stay there is a pillow-top queen size bed as well as a queen size Sleeper Sofa in the living room. The living room also has a 60” Smart TV for movie nights at the lake. From the deck you will enjoy the view of the lake, pool, & evening sunsets from the bar table or sectional!

Accessibility: The Condo is on the second floor of the building accessible by stairs with landings or a ramp with a short set of steps.

Lovely weekend!

This condo has everything we needed for our weekend getaway to the lake! A clean comfortable place for two to rest between house tours and meals out. Plenty of coffee and water for our mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the water views!

Small but well appointed

The owners’ attention to details in furnishing the studio is stellar. Quality appliances and bathroom fixtures, amazingly comfortable mattress with plush linens, and a comfortable living room and open deck area from which to view the lake. If we are in the area again, this will be first choice for a place to stay.

Perfect Getaway

We love this condo. It was immaculate and nicely decorated. The view is great. It is quiet and peaceful. The host was quick to respond and helpful. We look forward to staying here again.

The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Our only disappointment was the size of the Condo. The pictures gave the impression of a much larger space. We were very surprised and disappointed that the pictures were misleading.

Awesome Place

Soooo cute, little condo on the water. Absolutely loved it and would definitely visit again! Very clean and kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc were all good enough to make a few meals!

Relaxing Couples Retreat

We truly enjoyed the space. It was perfect for an extended weekend for my wife and I. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the deck looking over the lake, and our host suggested walking trails at the community park that ran along the shoreline of the lake. AND to top it all off…the weather was perfect for our stay. If SML is an area in Virginia you haven’t seen yet…it’s worth a trip!

Graduation Vacation

Stayed here while attending college graduation events for our daughter at Liberty. It was an hour trip into and out of Lynchburg. But it was a peaceful and comfortable place to come back to.

Perfect for a short get-away

We stayed for Labor Day weekend. The “condo” was small but perfect for a short stay. It had all amenities anyone could need. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were even better- so good that I ordered some from Amazon on the way home. The location was close to everything and the view was beautiful. The only down fall we had was with the internet, it was very spotty making it difficult to stream movies and such. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

2 night off-season weekend stay

We were invited to a wedding nearby this condo and decided to make a weekend out of it! This condo was more than perfect for just the 2 of us. Very clean and cozy! Truly neither of us had any complaints about this stay. Instructions to the property were clearly stated and easy to find. Everything we needed was already there and accessible. I am a local to the area and enjoy being out on the water as much as possible. Smith Mountain Lake has always been my place to relax. By hosting I am hoping to share that with others who want to do the same!

Why they chose this property

I love that Stripers Landing is to itself. It is its own community. I love goofing off at the tennis court and pool but my favorite thing by far is sitting on the back deck in the evenings.

What makes this property unique

Many recent updates to the condo I think will make it fun and more modernized- especially the shower!
