Hot & Noisy
Our challenges started before arriving. I did not receive check-in info so I messaged & called the host - no response. Finally, as we were already driving, texting them got a response.
Check-in was swift & easy with ample parking. It was clear they had recent renovations as there were purchase stickers on items, tags on towels, & screws taped to the back of the door. The fridge has a massive dent & it's very hard to open any drawers/cabinets since they're installed too close together. Most item's doors (fridge, cabinets) open the wrong way so you have to squeeze between the wall to gain access.
The apartment was HOT!!! We are from Texas & the high was 97-105 during our stay but the place would NOT cool down. There was a ceiling fan & floor fan but it felt like a sauna & we were sweating just being in the room. Our poor dogs were laying on the floor panting constantly. The bathroom was even hotter. It was much cooler to just get in our car. There isn't sufficient (if any) insulation for that apartment. There were large gaps of light around the frame of the door & heat from the windows.
We had to purchase an a/c unit that evening & with both units running full blast it didn't cool down until 11p-6a, then got hot again. We got some sleep until the trains began running through the night, directly behind the property, continually waking us.
If we didn't have an event that weekend we would have left early & ended our vacation.
They do have a great rainfall shower head & stove.
