Hale Lani Villa has beautiful ocean and sunset views! Close to Cruz Bay town (10 minutes) and National Park beaches (15 minutes). Villa is located in a quiet neighborhood with private pool.

Hale Lani is all about open air Caribbean living and the spectacular ocean views! The Villa has a main living area with a living area, kitchen, and expansive patio. Our home has sliding doors that disappear into the walls so you can truly feel the Caribbean breezes. There is also a covered breezeway with additional seating/lounging off the main living area that leads to the refreshing pool.

Hale Lani is located in the beautiful neighborhood of Great Cruz Bay and is very quiet and easy to get to Cruz Bay town and grocery stores.

Fantastic View

The property was beautifully landscaped. Driving from car ferry to property was easy. The home was furnished nicely and the recent renovations were great improvements. The pool and covered breeze way by the pool was perfect for sitting and enjoying wonderful sunsets. Beds were super comfy. We were treated to a lovely charcuterie board on arrival. Our contact with agent Kelly on arrival was informative and pleasant.

Hale Lanai - Perfect Villa

Could not have stayed at a better villa. The outstanding views, outdoor space, pool, amenities, location, cleanliness, beach chairs, coolers, & owners communication during our stay could not have been any better. The backup power definitely an added plus. Highly recommend Hale Lanai!!!

Fantastic stay at Hale Lani in St John

We had a fantastic stay at Hale Lani for our kids’ spring break (ages 7, 11, and 13) with another family. The home was beautiful, well-maintained, and perfectly laid out, with two master suites upstairs and two queen bedrooms downstairs (outdoor spiral staircase). The kids loved having their own space!The house had everything—kitchen essentials, a grill, games, snorkel gear, beach chairs, even paddleboards with car straps. Thoughtful extras like toiletries, laundry soap, and spices were provided, along with a welcome charcuterie board with fresh flowers.Communication with the property manager was excellent, and the location was ideal—close to the market and Cruz Bay. We chartered with Stormy Pirates, rented a dinghy (our favorite day!), visited Lime Out (fun but pricey), and swam with turtles at Maho Beach. While the island is expensive, Hale Lani was well worth it!Thank Dave and Julie! We hope to come back again!!

Beautiful Villa, outstanding views

Hale Lani Villa was everything we had hoped for and more: clean, modern, comfortable, spacious and a breathtaking view of the ocean. Great kitchen and pool area. The windows and light throughout the house have been well thought out. Every bedroom comes with a firm king bed.

Perfect house for family

The location is very convenient and easy to get to. And it provides easy access to grocery stores and restaurants The sunsets are stunning. And the floor plan for the house is perfect for our family of Adult daughters and son-in-law. Two masters up stairs with out door shower were very much a novelty and very much enjoyed. The bedroom lower level had great views of the ocean and very bright. The common space both in doors and out doors was a fantastic place to gather and see the sun sets and play games in the evenings. The recently updated kitchen was modern and clean and is a spacious layout. We’ll be back to stay at Hale Lani again.

THE perfect home for a St John Vacation

We have been to St John many times over the years, from our early days working with Royal Caribbean to taking numerous vacations. This was our 2nd stay at Hale Lani and it was even better than the first in 2022. Outstanding home in a prime location, great management and check-in process and very responsive to any requests during our stay. Very accommodating with pre-check in provisioning from Landlubber Logistics (separate company, also recommended!). Our family of four really enjoyed the incredible view, the great remodel upgrades to the kitchen/living room/master bath. Everyone loved the outdoor showers, the pool with a million dollar view and the beautiful sunsets. We will definitely stay here again, it's just perfect!

The house is beautiful and well-appointed. The bedroom layout was perfect for our family and everyone enjoyed the panoramic views from the living room. Greatly appreciated the beach chairs and beach toys supplied by the hosts. David was quickly responsive to our requests.

Unbelievable views and incredible property!

Hale Lani is everything it promises to be and more! Our family of five, including a set of grandparents and young adult, had more than enough room to spread out between the two master suites upstairs and the downstairs bedrooms. The covered lanai leading out to the pool that overlooks the beautiful waters of St. John was wonderful to wake up to and come home to after our daily trips exploring the incredible beaches. The property manager, Julie, was very responsive and communicative. We were sad to leave and can't wait to return!

Spring break getaway for 8

Beautiful views in a lovely location. Flight in was delayed to the island; property manager stayed in contact the whole time making checkin and getting to location easy. The house was clean, there was wildlife everywhere, and taking a moonlight shower outside was a the perfect way to end the night or prep for a night out. Thank you to everyone at Hale Lanai Villa. 💗

40th Extravaganza!

The pictures don’t even come close to how amazing of home this gem is in St John. Julie and Dave are great hosts. We’re typically beach goers but it was hard not to enjoy time at the house and the pool. This place is a winner! Best way to start my 40’s!

We had 3 couples and enjoyed this house so much!! The view is spectacular, the bedrooms are exactly what you need and the house is convenient to everything! We would certainly rent from here again and suggest you do the same!!

Amazing!

We've rented a few houses on St. John and this one has been our favorite so far. The house was super clean, beds comfortable, kitchen well-supplied, plenty of room for everyone, and divine sunset views. We will definitely be back.

Stunning Views

We were so sad to leave this vacation! The home is as beautiful as the pictures and the views were unbeatable. Everything was easy from communication, check in etc. We rented Jeeps from Aqua Blue and the house was a short 5 minute drive from town. We really enjoyed our time on in this beautiful home and lovely island and hope to be back! Highly recommend.

We Spent 10 glorious days in this “Heavenly Home” From the Rainbows in the morning and the stunning sunsets our family truly enjoyed every moment in Hale Lani. Views views views from all t rooms and the out door shower was extra special. We used the pool and BBQ and the kitchen was well equipped as we cooked in several nights! Perfectly located minutes from Cruz Bay and beaches and grocery needs. Overall outstanding experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

70th bday celebration

Couldn’t have imagined a better spot to bring my children in from different parts of the country and have a celebratory week in such a superb location. Working with VRBO and Julie and Dave was very easy and they covered all the bases about the island, shopping and restaurants. But being in their house, cooking there, and enjoying the pool and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets provided the best of our stay. Thanks to all!

Amazing house

The house is perfect. The view is about as good as it gets. Also, good location to run to the grocery store or to the north beaches. Neighborhood is quiet. The house has regular power and solar power with back up Tesla batteries that came in handy when the power went out. Our vacation was uninterrupted by power outages. The property managers are easy to communicate with. The house has 2 master suites on the top level each with private bathrooms and ice cold AC and indoor and outdoor showers. The bottom level has 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom with excellent AC as well. There is a community restroom on the top level. The pool is excellent. House is stocked with everything you can think of. Would highly recommend and would return again.

Hard to leave...

Our family and friends enjoyed an amazing week (this past week) in this wonderful Chocolate Hole location. We're not new to St. John but this is the first time we've stay in this side of the island. We'll be back! The house was perfect for our family and friends. Opening all of the sliding doors provided an expansive outdoor living setting, that provided a ton of room for everyone. It may also, be one of the best views we've had in St. John. You could see some of the sunrise and a full sunset. The pool was great for cooling off. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The kitchen was a bit small but we brushed that aside given all of the other wonderful perks. Great beach chairs were available to use on our daily treks. Although we brought our own there was lots of snorkeling equipment and other outdoor gear. It's close to town and a 5 minute drive to the grocery store. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! The hosts were readily available but since everything was provided we didn't need to contact them. Highly recommend!

Dream Time

All I can say is, "Aaahhhh" to the gorgeous and expansive ocean views we delighted in every day at Hale Lani! The house is incredibly spacious, especially on the first floor. I savored morning coffee and relaxed family dinners out on the lanai. The beach chairs, cooler, beach towels, snorkel gear, and paddle boards were very much appreciated and used almost every day! My reasoning for 4 stars was the loss of water our fifth and final night. We were a party of only 5 adults so I was incredibly surprised and disappointed. I reached out to Dave the next morning when water did not return and he came to reset the pump, allowing us to shower, finish laundry, and tidy up. A water truck arriving at time of check-out impeded my children's ability to leave the property so they had to struggle down the steep driveway with their luggage. I was really upset I did not receive any communication from Dave or consideration given the issues with water and our late check-in. I would highly suggest contacting Dave to insure water supply is full as I would not want anyone else to experience that.
