Enjoyed our stay

Our only negative was we were there for 10 days and it wasn’t until day 7 that we asked about the weekly housekeeping services. They did schedule it for the next day but never changed our sheets. The sheets also need replacing. I would stay again and just make sure I schedule housekeeping sooner and request a linen change.

Such a great place right at Eagle Beach

The Arena Condominium is very conveniently located. It is literally across a parking lot from Eagle Aruba resort and La Cabana resort. You walk out the door and have a 2 minute walk to the beach. The place provides 2 beach chairs and a cooler (there is an ice maker on premise too). It's all you need, we walked out to the beach every day anywhere between 9-11am, got a palapa umbrella to gut when we got there. There is a waitress from Soborro at La Cabana who comes out to the beach and will bring food and/or drink. My husband would get 5 of the local Aruba Beer, "Chill" for $20 and it was a better deal than. What he said for at the store! We would walk over to La Cabana and get a taxi from there when we went anywhere. A 1 min walk across from Arena. This place was great, if you're not looking for drills, but just need a room to sleep and get ready. Does have a kitchen though, so if you want to cook you can. Also walking distance across the street from the Super Foods grocery store. We never rented a car for the week we stayed, just took taxi for dinner every night. I only wish the place had more than just the one mirror in the bathroom. But other than that, this was a great deal!!

Do not stay here. Not at all as described.

We were given a unit not shown on any vrbo or website for this complex. It was a back alley location. It's unfortunate that I can't upload photos...you wouldn't stay here. Bedroom window looked onto an 8' tall concrete wall 2' away from the window, front window looked at a maintenance building. No patio, deck or pool view. This was the true meaning of bait and switch. The palapas down the road were under the control of the Cabana resort. Were were directly told by their attendant that we could not use and/or rent a palapa. You'll be able to sit in the blistering sun all day long with no shade, how fun. When I told the host that we were not happy, I was told that no refund would be given and there was nothing to be done. The add said the unit was new, not even close to new. The door to the unit was loose and unsafe, there was no safe for valuables in the unit which is unusual because, I have to assume, most guests will have passports, cash and some valuables, as we did. Again...do not stay here. You can easily find another location in the area, we did, and you'll feel better about yourself because you deserve better, we did.
