Location, Location, Location! A cozy, well appointed second floor efficiency apartment is located just off Main Street in beautiful downtown Red River. The unit is less than a half block walk to the new Red River Ski Area Platinum Chair, across the street from Timbers restaurant. Four other dining establishments are within a half block walk. Walking distance to shopping, art galleries or the fishing ponds! Watch the torch light parade and fireworks from your balcony. Whether watching the local wildlife in the summer or the skiers coming down the FACE in the winter, you are in the middle of everything, with the added bonus of being in your own little hideaway!

You can walk to Red River Ski area, drive 45 minutes to either Angel Fire Ski Area or Legendary Taos Ski Area.

You are a 45 minute drive away from Taos NM where you can visit the Rio Grande Gorge, wonderful art galleries and fabulous restaurants. Ojo Caliente, natural mineral springs. are about an hour and 15 minutes away. And Abiqui, NM, where Georgia o'Keefe painted is only about an hour and half away. Funky Art Colony Arroyo Seco is a beautiful 30 minute drive, with wonderful shopping and dining.

Cozy spot right at the base of the mountain!

Cozy little spot exactly as described right at the base of the mountain (about a 2 minute walk)! Perfect for a couple or a solo traveller. We couldn’t get the TV to work for us but honestly we were so tired from snowboarding all day that it didn’t even matter.

Great location

This was our second time staying in one of these rentals. The location is great. Less than two blocks from Platinum Chair and with a great view of The Face, which is especially great for Torchlight viewing. The room itself is no-frills, but very clean and everything you need for a basic stay to ski and enjoy the area!

Perfect

I loved the cozy feel of the room, and I appreciated the little loveseat for reading purposes. The only thing I don't remember seeing in the description was that the room was up a flight of stairs. I may have missed it, but I managed to make it work. There were great places to eat and shop nearby, and I would recommend this location.

Nice stay

We had a very nice stay, there were go carts but it wasn't bad. The place was nice and clean ans perfect for my husband and I and our stay for the weekend! Would stay there again!

Parking area is really Bad! Go cart track was VERY LOUD all day till 10.00 pm!

Perfect location! This property is right next to the lift with great views of the Face. It is cozy, clean and comfortable. The shower is a little small, but hey, I'm not too picky! I would definitely stay here again for a short trip to the slopes.

Fantastic Location and Place

This perfectly located VRBO is well stocked, cozy, and reasonably priced. The owner/manager is friendly and helpful, and leaves a wealth of knowledge for tenants to explore Red River with. We would recommend this to other couples traveling without their kiddos (as more than two people would make the space feel cramped).

Great Place to Stay

This is a great place to stay. The host is one of the best. He made the check in process very easy and made sure we had a great time while in Red River. This unit is located right at the base of the mountain and within walking distance of all that Red River has to offer. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Place

We have owned a business in Red River since 1991 and only recently decided to remodel living quarters on the back of our business to offer as nightly rentals. Our goal is to make these rooms feel like your home away from home. The balcony overlooks Red River Ski Area and the apartments are convenient to everything in town. Once you park your car, you can walk anywhere you want to go!

Why they chose this property

The area we are located in is called the Enchanted Circle. This place has a special feel and draws people in. My family had a cabin here for years; it was a lifelong dream to live here full time. Now we own a business here and are able to enjoy all the wonderful things New Mexico has to offer.

What makes this property unique

When you walk out your door, you will see gorgeous mountain views. We reside at nearly 10,000 feet. The mountain air is clean and crisp and the water is pristeen. The summers are lovely here, with highs in the 70s and lows in the 40's. A light jacket is always a good idea. In the winter, you have access to all manor of winter activities to enjoy, whether it is skiing or snowmobiling, or snowshoeing...or just relax with a good book and have hot chocolate on your balcony!
