About this property

Come stay at our refurbished 1910 Beach Bungalow on Alki Point. It has all the modern amenities and comfort while maintaining its old world charm. Our master bedroom with a queen bed has an attached exercise changing room that can be used as a third bedroom, with a queen or twin aero bed and linens.
Our bungalow has a unique feature. The second bedroom with a queen bed and T.V. is downstairs. It has its own seprate entrance along with a bathroom, sitting room and office area.
This is perfect for two couples. Due to limited space there are no bathtubs in either of the bathrooms, showers only. Our bungalow is surrounded by a beautiful flower garden that was featured in the 2003 West Seattle Garden tour. View the garden from the front porch or around back on our custom built deck, where you will find a hot tub, table and chairs, built in fish pond and lots of afternoon sun. A great place for sunbathing, entertaining or just relaxing with a good book.

Beach combing, birding, kayaking, sunsets, with views of the Olympics and Mount Rainier can be found on the beach three blocks to the south. Three blocks to the north puts you right in the middle of all the action on Alki Beach, with its sandy beach, boardwalk, bike path, restaurants and shops. This is a very popular beach, perfect for people watching, romantic walks, beautiful sunsets and city views.

The bus line is a half a block away from the bungalow that will take you to downtown Seattle or catch the free water taxi shuttle at the bus stop down on Alki at the bus stop next to Starbucks, it will take you to the Water Taxi. You will enjoy a short ride across Elliot Bay to the Downtown Waterfront where you can easily walk to the Public Market, Stadiums, Pioneer Square, Convention Center, Theaters, and much more.

Return after a full day to our bungalow with all its comforts of home:
Hot tub, LED flat screen TV, full kitchen, pillow top queen size beds, and much more, are all here to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Perfect house for family guests

My family had a great experience staying here. They rated it as 5 star. Nice quiet neighborhood with an easy 10 minute walk to the beach area and some beautiful sunsets. House is bright and roomy with cute and unique decorative items and books. Yard has lovely variety of plantings. Well appointed with appliances, beach towels, extra bathing suits and hot tub. Pam and Tom were great hosts, easy to communicate with and most helpful about answering questions.

Winter get away

My brother, sister-in-law from Colorado and myself from Portland OR were visiting Seattle to see family and spend time with our new great niece/granddaughter. This little bungalow was perfect! Each of us had our separate space and there was plenty of room for family dinners and visits. We walked to the beach everyday and enjoyed some of the Alki restaurants and views. We will definitely stay here again!

This home is so special! The decor is wonderful and split level design allows for privacy for 2 couples with beautiful grounds for shared outdoor time. We loved the area! So quiet and access to walking along the shore of the Sound was amazing. Owner was very friendly and helpful. We plan to come back on another occasion!!

Charming Home near Alki beach

e about the host: We had a wonderful stay at this charming home near Alki Beach! The house was super cozy and had so much character. It was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, from kitchen essentials to extra blankets and towels, which made us feel right at home. While it’s a couple of blocks from the beach, we enjoyed the short walk and loved exploring the nearby restaurants, arcade, and shops. The host Pam was extremely accommodating and helpful, making sure everything was perfect for our stay and responding quickly to any questions we had. The amenities were fantastic, and the location was perfect for a quickbeach getaway. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect home away from home....

Alki Beach Bungalow is the perfect place to stay in the Seattle area. Close to lots of places and yet far enough for rest relaxation. I had thexmost amaxing time and definitely will share with family and friends looking for a great place to stay.

Cozy getaway

Pam asked us who was staying so she could tailor the trip. With separate upstairs and downstairs entrances, the backyard feels like part of the living space, including the koi by the car and the hot tub on the deck. She made up a twin bed off the upstairs bedroom for our daughter, who also delighted in the Halloween decorations and small notes. We're from the area, and so, we loved the access to Alki, the easy cruise up to the Junction, the time at Whale Tail park and Schmitz Park, and the neighborhood cats who greet everyone. Also, floor heating is the *best* in the Seattle weather.

Lovely Bungalow!

The property was as described, a charming bungalow near Alki Beach. Property manager was quick to reply and very accommodating. We were lucky enough to have some beautiful weather for sightseeing in Seattle☺️ we loved all the little collection pieces in the bungalow, and the beach vibe! We would love to return.

Lovely Retreat

Would and Hope to stay again.

The vibe of the Alki Cottage was just what we needed. Hit a husky then a seahawk game on back to back days and coming back to the quiet neighborhood and welcoming cottage was the best decision i could have made for our stay. It was my wife and father in law and the separate loving/sleeping spots were great! Thank you to Pam and Tom

Fantastic place to stay!

This is one of the cleanest and loveliest places we have stayed. Great care was taken by the owners to provide everything one might need while they are away from home. Before booking a place to stay in/near Seattle I had agonized over where the best location would be. This was it! Being near Alki beach was fabulous. We felt safe to go out and walk any time of day or evening. There was lots of activity and a beautiful view to look at and so many places to eat or get coffee down by the water. Getting into Seattle was so much easier than we had imagined. The water taxi takes you right over in 10 minutes or so, but driving in was super easy too. We loved feeding the fish and sitting out enjoying the yard. Such a peaceful place to be! The only problem was that it was over too soon. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect vacation spot

The bungalow was perfect for us! The house was spotless and everything that we needed was available. We loved the koi pond and beautiful gardens on the property. The location was a short walk to the beach. We walked along the beach each morning and saw beautiful sunsets at night! The neighborhood was quiet even though it was not far from the beach. The local restaurants were also great. The host was available if needed and recommended things to do during our stay . Great stay!

Highly Recommended

Highly recommended option for staying in the Alki Beach community in West Seattle. The house was fantastic - clean, quiet, and comfortable. My kids loved the koi fish pond in the backyard. There is a laneway in the back where the kids played football. The walk to the beach was about 7 minutes, and there are several restaurant options along the beach strip (and an arcade!). The drive into downtown Seattle is easy (you can also take a small ferry across). Hosts were very responsive and thoughtful. It's basically like staying at a good friend's house when they aren't there. I've stayed in Seattle many times in different areas and this is my favourite option to date, largely due to the chill vibe of the house.
