OBX Life 1 Ocean front with Private pool!

Come experience why everyone loves staying at OBX Life Vacation Rental Properties! OBX Life I is a traditional beachfront OBX cottage!! More than 100 5 STAR REVIEWS!! Golf Cart included for any weekly rental between 5-31-25 and 8-30-25!!
The interior and exterior has just been painted. Pictures will be updated soon. There are 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Upstairs is a king bed master with private full bathroom, 2nd bedroom has a queen, and 3rd bedroom one twin bed and one full bed that share another bathroom off the upstairs hallway. Downstairs has two more bedrooms, 2nd master with a king and double bunk sets bedroom. There is a bathroom in the hallway. Total of three full bathrooms. One of our guests favorite features is the high capacity ice maker to keep your drinks cold and your coolers full on the beach.
Enjoy spectacular sunsets from front screened in porch and breathtaking unobstructed sunrises from the covered porch with a 6 person hot tub! Conveniently located 300 feet from Outer Banks Pier where you can fish or relax at the Fish Heads Ocean Front Grill at the pier. (voted best beach bar on the Outer Banks FIVE years in a row) Enjoy your private pool and private walkway to the beach. Pool opens May 15th and closes Oct 1st.
Both front screen porch and rear covered deck offer great views all day and evening long.
South Nags Head offers residential privacy with a bike and walking sidewalks. Outlet shopping located only 3.2 miles from the house. Located in a quiet area with little traffic and uncrowded beaches. Don't forget to be at the docks of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center (10 Minutes away) at 4:00 pm to see the charter fleet Captains come in with their fresh catch of the day. A chance to see Tuna, Dolphin, and Wahoo.
This is a great location for an off-season weekend getaway or weekly summer vacation!

House will have bedspreads and pillows. . You must furnish your own paper products and basic cleaning supplies. You should also bring any items that you feel are indispensable for an enjoyable vacation. We are not responsible for the malfunction of these services, utilities or internet service. We had a great time. The rental is in a great location and has lots of room. It wasn't as clean as we thought it should be, but we had our own cleaning stuff with, so we cleaned the dirty areas up ourselves.

Great Location!
The location of the property is perfect for a family vacation. Beautiful view and close to restaurants and other attractions. Communication with the host was great! We had an issue getting into the house when we first arrived. I messaged Mike and he got back to me right away! We enjoyed our stay and have been talking about a trip back!

Quiet and close to beach and pier
this was a nice house. we enjoyed the beach views from the porch and hot tub. walking distance to pier and pier restaurant. beds are really showing their age but we were not picky sleepers. Had to make our own beds but I think we read this in the listing. I would stay here again but would hope the beds are refreshed by then.

Had a great time house has a awesome veiw seen plenty of dolphins from the back deck of house and the hot tub was a nice bonus.My only regret was not booking a longer trip.

Incredible beach house with a wonderful host!
We had a family reunion at the Outer Banks and Mike’s house was perfect to accommodate multiple family with the ages ranging from 1 to 68. We were traveling from California and Mike was always very quick to respond to all the questions we had leading up to the incredible trip. The house was beautiful and the location was amazing. We will be back for sure!

An Amazing Time on the OBX
Our family of eleven -- with five grandchildren (ages 8-12) -- stayed at the OBX Classic Oceanfront from Monday afternoon through Saturday morning, September 23-28, and were well accommodated by this lovely Vrbo with its private access to the beach. We enjoyed this homebase immensely as our primary vacation experience with the sand, the waves, and the rising of the sun always available -- and with the hot tub and outdoor pool as pluses. Then we took our trips out to lovely experiences -- two lighthouses, The Wright Brothers National Monument, NC Aquarium, the sand dunes, laser tag, and of course wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed making meals together, morning coffees on the deck, and family movies in the evenings. As noted above, everything about our stay was exceptional!

Wonderful location and having the private pool was amazing. I called the owner about the BBQ grill not being very good and a new one with accessories was delivered within 2 hours. We were very appreciative because we cooked in every meal. Fabulous time with family!

OBX 2024 Family Vacation
We all had the best family vacation ever. Location was perfect and the house was amazing. We were missing a tv remote in the master bedroom and our host had a new one delivered within a few hours. The ice maker was a game changer! If we don't have any additional people next year, we will be back for sure! The only reason that I gave it four stars for cleanliness was because my son in law, who is an HVAC technician noticed some mold on some of the AC registers. I would have never noticed!

We were bummed with the weather. We also thought it was weird you didn't supply just a few basics so when you get in late at night you don't have to find a store and buy toliet paper and hand soap. We left some for the next guests. PS We forgot to start the dishwasher. Sorry!

Dryer damaged some clothes. Lint trap pocket in dryer needs to be removed and cleaned up so that trap can be placed all the way in.

Perfect Family Vacation House
This house was wonderful for our little family getaway. The location was walking distance to a great bar with food at the pier. Great private access to the beach. Beautiful view of the pier and ocean. The owner was readily available for a few small questions. Highly recommend this house!

Our stay was fantastic!! The house was perfect for our needs... beautiful beach front views, comfortable beds, great seating for lounging and watching movies! The hot tub on the deck with the ocean view!! We had an extra treat of a full moon. I would highly recommend this cottage and will definitely be back!!

Beautiful home, with everything you need. Great beach, with pier within walking distance. Home is well appointed but comfortable so you can relax and enjoy. Great beds. Perfect relaxing location
The location on the beach with the back windows and porch all facing a clear view of the ocean rolling in was just what we were looking for. Being early season, it was nice to be able to enjoy the ocean sitting in the hot tub. The house isn’t luxurious, if that matters to you, but it’s very roomy and open, and has everything we needed. Definitely would go again.

Girls Getaway
While the property is dated and a bit worn in some areas, it's clean with comfortable beds and everything you need to relax. The location and view are absolutely amazing and couldn't be more perfect. Walk to the pier for a bite and a beer or listen to a band. Tourist areas are a bit further away so you feel out of the fray and immersed in the vibe of what makes the Outer Banks such a draw for many. We would stay here again.

Wonderful location!
The property was as described and communication was excellent. The location could not have been better! Walking to the pier to fish was easy and we could watch the fishermen from the porch. The house fit our needs (7 adults between 60-75). We had room to spread out and common spaces to visit. Was a beautiful view! Jockey's Ridge, a grocery store, and restaurants were close and easy to drive. Highly recommend.

Location location locations...the house and view exceeded expectations! My only issue was that the owner did not disclose the outside work that was being done on the house during our visit and this did slightly detract from our enjoyment.

Disappointed in the condition of the house and lack of amenities
The location of the property is 5 star. The house was worn and needs to be updated. All beds are extremely uncomfortable and had a piece of foam between the mattress and mattress cover. One piece of foam was torn into two pieces. Most of the furniture was a hodge pod; some looking like it was purchased from a used furniture store. The family room furniture was new and comfortable. We picked up bedding from a container outside the house and had to make the beds. We were surprised by a last minute email from the owner that we had to buy all supplies, trash bags, soap, dishwasher pods, etc. Total nightly cost of the stay was about the same I pay for a 5 star condo in Maui but it felt more like a Days Inn level property. When we contacted the owner about need for more towels, he responded quickly and accommodated the request. While we had a good time in the Outer Banks, the accommodations were disappointing.

Meet the Olsons! During their breaks from college, both headed to the OBX for the summer - Renee worked in local retail and the famous Captain Franks, while Mike was a lifeguard for the Kill Devil Hills Lifeguard Beach Service (LBS) and Nags Head Ocean Rescue team. Their love of the beach brought them together, and their enthusiasm for the beach life continues to this day.

When not spending time at the beach, Mike and Renee live in Chesterfield, VA with their two children, Meganne and Max, along with their two furry children, dogs Bo and Boomer.

OBX I and OBX II are standout properties in the area. OBX I is a 5-bedroom oceanfront property with unobstructed views of the ocean and direct, private access to the beach. It is a large, relaxed and accommodating house with the feel of a traditional beach cottage.

OBX II is a good family-sized property with 3 bedrooms and a pool. Situated nearer to Nags Head itself, many of the popular amenities (the beach, Jeanette’s Pier, restaurants) are all within walking distance. The kids love it!

Both houses are reasonably priced and offer great value for the premium locations that they are in.

Our guest are in love with the house because we try and keep the house a traditional beach cottage feel. Sitting on the back porch watching the sunrise or the porpoises play in the surf. Oceanfront offers it all. South Nags Head is away from all the heavy traffic and the beach is less crowded.

What makes this property unique

SO MUCH TO DO! Sitting in the hot tub overlooking the ocean is incredible. Or grabbing your fish rod and walking down the beach to the pier. Or taking a break from the beach and relaxing in the hammock at the pool. This house has it all.
