Enjoy peace and quiet, and views of canal at this beautiful 5 bedroom Cape Cod home just 3 miles from the beaches of Fenwick Island, DE and Ocean City, MD. Launch your kayak from the private dock onto the canal that leads to the bay, where you can go fishing, crabbing, and enjoy the wildlife of the Delmarva Peninsula. Crabbing and fishing may also be enjoyed on private dock in the back of the house. Golfing, shopping, exercise gym and restaurants are within walking distance.

The community pool is within walking distance of house. The community center, where the pool is located, has a shuffle board and bocce ball courts.

The property is just minutes from the Fenwick Boardwalk which includes miniature golf, a water park, go cart track and concession stands. Also, there are many great restaurants and shops to enjoy in the town of Fenwick.

Brand new deck built in 2020!

First floor master bedroom has a king size bed and private bathroom. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, a sitting room, and a full bathroom. The first bedroom has a queen. The second has a double and bunk bed with a double bed on bottom and twin on top. The third has two double beds and the fourth has a daybed. There is a sofa in the sitting room. On the first floor, there is a spacious kitchen with eating island and breakfast bar, a living room area with fireplace, and a separate dining room that seats 8-10 people. In addition, this floor, has a spacious furnished sun room with a lovely view of the canal and seating for 8 people. Off the kitchen is a furnished deck. Home includes washer, dryer, dishwasher, gas grill, outdoor shower, and shed that includes crab nets and cages.

Absolutely no smoking and no pets allowed inside house or on premises!

Saturday-Saturday weekly rental preferred during summer months (June- September).

3 day minimum stay during the off-season.

Wonderful Experience

My family had the pleasure of staying at this lovely home. The owner communicated very well from the time I booked up until we left. There was plenty of room for our entire family to gather and enjoy each other's company. The owner provided great information for local needs that was truly beneficial to us. Great stay

We had a great stay, super helpful and communicative owner. Location was great, nice to have a pool and wonderful outdoor space after a day at the beach. Close to many restaurants and businesses but tucked away on a quiet street. House was very spacious, plenty of room for our 3 generation family.

Beautiful home!

The house was beautiful! Very clean, laid out nicely for a family and the outside was perfect for a cookout or to layout. The guys used their kayaks and everything was very convenient. Owners were wonderful to work with!! Highly recommend!!

Lovely, comfortable space. Especially enjoyed decks, dock for fishing and crabbing, community pool, screened in porch for family dinners and games, nearby beaches. Just what we hoped for.

Nice clean home, well stocked kitchen, quiet neighborhood

The home is very nice, roomy, & clean. Being on the canal is very relaxing. Kitchen was very well stocked & we enjoyed cooking/ staying in several evenings. Neighborhood pool is clean and only about 6 min walk away. Beach is about 10-15 min drive (we used ParkMobile App to park). The waterpark near beach & mini-golf was huge hit for kids. The grandparents enjoyed sitting on the deck by the water and relaxing. Only suggestion might be a new pillow top or new mattress for the king bed & single queen as they are super soft mattresses, but that could be our personal preferences. The other beds in house were firm like we enjoy. Overall a wonderful stay - we would recommend and we would rent here again! PS: the owner Jane was a pleasure to work with :)

Great place to stay

Renting this property was easy and the owner is very helpful and responsive. The property is very well kept and very comfortable. We were there during a hot week and the AC worked great. We loved the screened in porch and made many great memories with our kids and grandkids.

Wonderful Family Vacation

My family had a great vacation in Fenwick Island. We had 3 generations of family, my wife and I, daughter and son-in-law and their four children everyone had a fantastic time. The house is right on a lagoon and the grandchildren had countless hours of fun seeing what they could catch in the lagoon. The rear deck overlooking the lagoon allowed us adults to keep a close eye on them while relaxing, socializing and enjoying the weather. The screened porch was convenient for family dinners and gatherings. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook a meal when we decided to dine in and the grill in the backyard made it really easy to cook up some hotdogs for the kids. The house was more than ample in size to allow everybody a little personal space when they wanted and nobody felt cramped or like they were falling over each other. We even had my family who are still in the local area stop by to visit without ever having anywhere near a shortage of space. I am originally from the Ocean City, MD area and what makes this house extra special is that it's located in a quiet well kept neighborhood. You are close enough that you can be right in the middle of the hub bub, crowds and traffic that is summer in Ocean City within minutes, but can retreat back to the quiet serenity this property provides in no time at all. There is a grocery store close so picking up anything you need or have forgotten is extremely easy without fighting traffic or crowds. The beaches of Fenwick Island state park are only a five minute drive away. This house is absolutely perfect for those who want to do the beach their way whether it be nightlife, the beach, family activities or access to good restaurants. With Bethany, Fenwick and Ocean City only a short drive away you get the best all three towns have to offer. The owner was wonderful to deal with, questions before booking were promptly responded to and the booking process was remarkably easy. We will definitely return to this property next time we go home to visit family.

Beautiful, well cared for home

What a beautiful home with room for large numbers without feeling cramped. Our family had a wonderful week. The owners were immediately available to answer any questions. It was such a relief to rent from owners who take pride in their home. We loved the outdoor space and the quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and large enough for several cooks at one time. We look forward to returning.

Another wonderful year at your lovely home. We had 13 folks ranging from 1yr. to 90 yrs. old. In total, We had about 60 folks at the family reunion for Beach Week 2013. It was so nice to come back from the beach to some peace and quiet. Meal times were wonderful daily social events dining on the porch at that huge table. Lots of fun and laughs were enjoyed all week long. It was cloudy one day so we took the folks to Ocean Downs Casino. My brother picked us up at your dock and took us for boat rides. This was our 3rd year at your home and we plan to return next summer for Beach Week 2014. Thank you for sharing your home with all of us.

A Real Charmer

My family rented this wonderful home in early August. This is the best house we have ever rented, and we rent a beach home every year so we have many to which to compare. The house was modern, comfortably and tastefully decorated, and incredibly roomy (much roomier than the pictures make it appear, with a very open floor plan). The bedrooms were also ample sized, and the master bedroom (1st floor level) was absolutely huge. The kitchen was well equipped and there is a wonderful sun room overlooking the canal that has a large dining table that seats about 10 people, in addition to wrap couch seating off to the side in the same room that can seat others. There is also lunch/dinner seating around the kitchen island or in a separate dining room. Apart from the inside of the house, it was really the views out the back of the house that sold us. We loved taking our early morning coffee out on the dock and watching the birds fly over the canal. Our daughter crabbed off of the dock one day and had so much fun! And my husband and I rented a double seated kayak for the week (Coastal Kayak delivers to the house), and it was such a joy to explore the canals and the bay. We thought we would mind the three mile drive down to the beach, but it turned out not to be an issue at all. We always found parking, and were happy to have this home to come home to each day. Thanks to the owners for all they did to make it such a wonderful stay.

Well.....another great year in Fenwick Island and at this property. We said we would return and return we did. It was well worth the long drive from Michigan to enjoy our family in this beautiful home. We had 11 adults and two babies and the accommodations worked out perfectly. Our son even spent two nights on the sofa on the enclosed sun porch. He loved the cool breeze and the sound of crickets at night and chirping birds in the morning. The home is great for large families and the beautiful table on the enclosed porch was the gathering spot for our family dinners. We have already reserved again for next summer and once January rolls around we will be counting the days until vacation. Once again, thank you for the beautiful accommodations. See you next summer!!!

Keenwick Sound Rental

WOW!! What a wonderful time. This rental property is everything the write up says it is and more. We never expected such a beautiful home. Easy drive to the beach and lovely evenings by the dock enjoying a glass of wine with family. There wasn't anything we needed that wasn't included in the rental. The home owners were just great to deal with and couldn't have been more helpful. The home is immaculate and everything is brand new. Lots of room to accommodate a large family. Beautiful enclosed sun porch with the breeze in the late afternoon. Other than your food and linens, everything is provided. Tons of pots, pans, dishes, etc. Nice grill on the deck. We even caught some small crabs on the dock. What fun! We went to the Rusty Rudder in Rehobeth one evening but had a blast at a local restaurant called Mia Fratello's. They have a great entertainer on Tuesday nights. Our vacation was most enjoyable as the weather was great and our rental home could not have been nicer.
