Hear the waves from your balcony! This updated 3/1.5 ocean view unit is directly across the street from the historic Seawall and the beach. The Victorian is directly across the street from the recently enlarged Babe's Beach and the 61st street fishing pier. The unit sits right on Seawall Blvd with a great view of the ocean and access to the beach. Ready to enjoy the outdoors? The complex has two pools on property (one with shallow entry for smaller children), tennis courts, fitness center, credit card operated laundromats, and grill-out areas. Unit has tile floors, kitchenette with refrigerator, dishwasher, cooktop, dining table, and living room. Plenty of room with two bedrooms with Queen beds, a bunk room with a twin-sized bunk bed and a queen-sized pullout sofa bed in the living room. Flat-screen TV’s in the living room as well as the 1st and 2nd bedrooms. The unit has a covered balcony. Free Wi-Fi and cable tv. The complex has 2 pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, fitness center and coin-operated laundry rooms. Want to explore Galveston? The beach, restaurants, shops and bars all within walking distance. Great vacation spot!

The condo was exactly as described. Can't beat the view and proximity to the beach. Unit was the perfect space for our family and kids loved the bunk bed area. Communication with host was great and will definitely be booking this unit again soon!

Galveston Vacation

The condo is exactly as listed. No surprises. The balcony, with an ocean view, was great for morning coffee. Check in was simple and the staff were friendly.

We went memorial weekend to celebrate my sons birthday. Communication is excellent, room was spacious and clean with an excellent view. Pool was clean. Had poolside service from seaside bistro. Would 10 out of 10 return

Our host knew that the power was out before we took the 5 hour drive and failed to communicate that. We then had to stay in another resort for one night and then come back when the power returned. The next day the AC broke. Also, the elevator was broke on the busiest days of the weekend. Our door code never stuck and we just had an open door the entire time for anyone to just walk in. It wasn’t worth the money we spent.

Spring break

The place was nice but the floors were dirty. Not just sandy but I literally had black and dusty feet from walking barefoot on the floors for just 3 hours. You might want to investigate your cleaning crew and also looks like you have a leak in the walls of the bathroom left side.

This was my first VRBO rental, so I was a bit taken aback by the fees that are tacked on to the rental, which I guess are standard. This was a comfortable condo; we pushed the max limit of people with four teenage girls, two adult women, and one poor man in a dwelling with only one shower, but we had fun. We walked to the beach every day, it is directly across the street, so much better then trying to find parking! Upon returning from the beach we learned quickly to use the shower faucet provided in the parking area to rinse off the sand otherwise we would have had a long wait for the shower in the condo. There is also a shower by the pools, and the pool was actually cold-ish! Hard to find cold pools after this hot summer. The condo was well stocked with 'starter' amenities. Aside from a clog in the shower (not surprising with number of people sharing one shower) it was a great stay, and the property manager responded with alacrity to our clog issue. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony with the beautiful ocean view and two rocking chairs. In addition to being across the street from the ocean, this condo was next door to a Super Walmart, making getting those beach supplies like water and sunscreen a breeze. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Needs some TLC

Property well positioned on the seawall with easy access to beach and activities on the island. Check in was easy and quick. Unit owner responsive to call when we had trouble with the key box. That said, both the Victorian in general, and the unit itself, are in need of some TLC. While I understand the toll salt water can take when a property is so close, it's clear the property has seen better days. Lots of rust throughout. Peeling paint. Sagging exterior railings. Pool water cloudy and lots of floating debris. Unit itself could use a deep cleaning. I ended up buying antibacterial wipes/lysol spray and went over all the doors/handles (black with dirty fingerprints) and vents (dirty with dust), light switches (dirty), as well as all the flat surfaces (tables, ledges), kitchen backsplash (greasy above the cooktop), cupboard doors (lots of food splatter), and spot cleaned the floor (food stuck to floor in kitchen). We had to vacuum out the sleeper sofa before we could use it because there was food in the bed. The high top table is rickety/wobbles. The tub did not drain well so we were standing in ankle deep water by the end of a shower. The baseboards haven't seen a duster in a while. I would note that while it *can* sleep 8, the unit/rooms appear larger in pictures. The bunk beds pictured are meant for small children, not teens. I have a 6 foot kid and he would not have fit. Good thing his sister is only 5 foot 3. And the room they are in is basically a closet.

Pre-school Opening Vacation

Our overall experience was good. A/c was excellent and kept the property cool during summer heat. However, we had the following complaints: 1) Drains were too slow in the tub and the bathroom sinks. 2) The coffee table legs in the living room were too flimsy. We were constantly worried that kids may break them by putting their feet in the table while sitting on the sofa. 3) The internet bandwidth was too slow. We were not able to watch Netflix continuously. It would get interrupted often. These were the reasons for three star overall rating.

Very nice property, great location. Front office gave some confusing code numbers and we couldn’t get my email because the internet wasn’t working. Took us about 30 minutes to get the walk-in gate and door open. Thankfully my granddaughter had internet in her car and we got info we needed. Otherwise we had a very nice stay.

property was nice convenient to the beach . rooms comfortable equipped with all needs. couple of things that wish we had 1 can opener bottle opener more trash bags other wise everything else was excellent thank you for your hospitality
