We say that the place is good for big groups because we manage multiple condos at this complex so that we can welcome family reunions, class reunions, wedding parties and more.
Unlike a hotel, you are renting a privately owned property. Linen service and daily cleaning are not included in our affordable pricing. However - if we can coordinate these for you with our housekeeping contractor during your stay we are happy to do so. A towel exchange is $25.00, full linen swap is $35.00 and if you wish to have the property cleaned and re-linened - the cost is $65.00. Let us know if we can help in arranging these services for you.
You will have exclusive use of the entire condo - and share the pools, hot tubs, fitness center, tennis court and grounds including BBQ pergolas, fish cleaning station and a multitude of outdoor spaces with other guests and residents of the Victorian condominium complex.
You certainly COULD stay here without a car - you can walk to shopping, eateries and the beach, there is public transportation nearby, and there are several local and nationally "branded" taxi services as well as ride share (Uber, Lyft) programs in place as well as meal deliveries (UberEats, ASAP (formerly WAITR) and DoorDash available as well.
We provide self check in instructions 24-72 hours prior to arrival - and when you are on vacation - YOU ARE ON VACATION. Should you need to reach us, however, we are but a phone call or email away and ready to assist you. We are happy to answer any questions at any time, but to ensure we give you the correct code we cannot provide access instructions earlier than this.
The Victorian complex staff will greet you at their office upon arrival to verify you are a registered guest and collect the Facilities Access Fee that they charge all guests on property which is $35 per stay up to 14 days or $70 per month - and this fee provides you with up to 6 wristbands that identify you as registered guests on the property - codes to the entry gates both drive through and walk-through, as well as codes to access pools, outdoor restrooms, fitness center - as well as up to 2 parking permits valid for the duration of your stay.
What's included: Bed linens for all beds, bath, hand and wash cloth for each guest that the unit welcomes. We do not provide beach/pool towels and we do ask that ours not be removed from the condo and taken to the beach or pool. They can get damaged or lost.
Starter supplies: 2 rolls of 2-ply, quilted toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, a dishwasher tablet, small dishwashing liquid, sponge, 2 small soaps, 2 small shampoos, trash bag, and coffee including sweeteners, stir sticks, powdered creamer to make that first pot. These are not intended to last your entire group through your entire stay - but to get in, get situated and figure out where you will shop for what on the island.
The Victorian complex does not allow renters to have a pet – so if you travel with Fido or Fifi – please check out the other My Galveston Getaway managed properties that ARE dog friendly. While true service animals are an exception – you very well may be asked by the complex to provide the verification. For short term rental/vacation purposes – emotional support animals are not considered true support animals and we are unable to make exceptions to a rule that is in place and enforced by a complex in which we manage condos. Kindly be respectful. All properties managed by My Galveston Getaway are 100% non-smoking/non-vaping properties.

We strive for 5 star reviews at all times - and the first part of that is notifying everyone of every cost they may incur so that there are no surprises. If during your stay with us you find any reason that you are not able to rate our service and the property a 5 star review based upon the description of the property, that the pictures accurately depict the property, or our courteous service - please let us know and give us the opportunity to turn that frown upside down and EARN your 5 star review.
After making your reservation you will receive a link to complete our renters agreement. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved.
Beginning with all reservations made on or after May 10, 2025 – there will be a policy change in that WE must collect $35.00 for every reservation at the Victorian which will include up to 2 parking permits, the number of wristbands equivalent to the number of people that the property is advertised to sleep, WiFi password, codes to entry gates and codes to access all property amenities. This will be reflected in your charges when you make your reservation.
Should you have more than 2 vehicles, we will need to know in advance and collect an additional $35 for each 2 vehicles. If rubber touches parking lot – it is a vehicle. That includes cars, golf carts, motorcycles, and trailers. If you arrive to the complex and have additional vehicles, additional parking permits will not be provided for those vehicles and they will be subject to the complex’ towing policies in effect at the time. There is nothing we can do about this, unfortunately, and we turn over that money to them.
This applies to rentals of 1-7 days in duration. For rentals that are longer than that the charge is $70 per month for each 2 vehicles. If you have 3 vehicles and are staying 30 nights it will be $70. If you have 3-4 vehicles it will be $140.
We will need to ask you in advance how many vehicles you will be bringing so that we can request additional funds from you if necessary as the platforms no longer allow us to collect those fees off-platform.
Again – the parking/resort/amenities/facilities fee is one charged by the condominium complex, not by the owner of the condo or My Galveston Getaway and we appreciate your understanding.
