Cutest cabin just off the highway but felt miles away. So quiet and charming. Rustic feel with nice amenities. Unfortunately, it rained all weekend, so we did not get to use the outdoor fire pit. Next time! Very close to several cute wineries and Rolla is just a skip away. Great for families too with plenty of bed space.
Hawk’s Ridge Cabin is a cozy, peaceful resting nest in quiet woods. Very clean. My husband and I enjoyed a stroll up The Bluff for sunset. We had fun on 2 simple day trips to Maramec Springs Park and Maramec Caves. An absolute gem!
The cabin was warm and inviting. It was located in quiet woodlands. The property was our first stop on our trip across America, a great beginning. The fall decorations were a festive plus. Thank you.
This was my 3rd or 4th stay here. Will always keep coming back! Close to trout fishing, in the woods and very comfortable accommodation. Too bad it was too warm to use the fireplace. Has a fantastic outdoor fire pit! Also, much easier to get up the hill now that it is partially paved! Thank you
We had a great time at this property. It was super comfy, like being at home. Love how the cabin is decorated and they have everything you need. We will be back.
Felt secluded but still close by a nice fishing spot and restaurants. Cabin far exceeded my expectations. Would definitely stay again. The driveway was pretty steep at one point but we have a minivan and had no issues getting up the hill.
The cabin looked like pics - not the cleanest place we’ve stayed, and not the worst. The host was nice, but Vrbo app is terrible and I blame it for lack of ease in communicating. . . But we enjoyed our stay and the cabin was as represented- nice place to unwind
This cabin is a wonderful mix of rustic and luxury! Every detail has been considered. Out in the woods but not too far from town. Rustic but comfy beds and special touches. The bathrooms are each unique and charming! The kitchen is fantastic! There are also great outdoor spaces that we didn’t quite have time to enjoy on our short stay. I’d definitely return to this sweet little cabin in the woods! It was perfect for our family of 6, but it would also be wonderful for a couples getaway!
This was our first trip to Missouri to see the sights and see some friends. This was a really nice place to stay that was just the right size and at a really nice location not too far from town, but also in a nice quiet area surrounded by trees.
This cozy, modern-rustic cabin is perched atop a picturesque hill, offering a tranquil escape surrounded by the stunning beauty of the woods and bluff. During our stay, we were delighted to find that the cabin's contemporary comfort and rustic charm provided us with the perfect place to unwind and relax. The cabin had everything we needed, including lots of wood for the fireplace - which really added to the coziness. Despite its secluded feel, the cabin is located conveniently close to town, making it easy to explore the area. We even hiked up the bluff trail and were blown away by the breathtaking view. Can't wait to visit again!
We had the best time at the cabin and at local nearby shopping! The cabin was so cozy and beautifully decorated. We were a group of 4 moms on a Christmas Shopping trip that enjoyed movies, wine and a cozy fire. A fabulous stay!
Two recommendations or notes - we arrived past dark, and there were no lights on. The cabin is set far back on a rock road, and we actually passed the cabin drive, as it was so dark. Lighting would be nice to make it easier to find and to enter in the dark!
There was no wood inside for the fire. It was December and raining. Wood was semi-covered outside. We had to haul it in and struggled to get things started since it was damp. Wood and fire starter inside would be a nice touch - specifically in winter months. The fireplace was the main reason we booked, and we were dissppointed it wasn't stocked for us.
We loved our stay at this cabin - it was well furnished and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cabin is absolutely beautiful -- our only regret was that we didn't book a longer stay. We had an amazing day visiting Meramec Springs and the town of St James. We cannot wait to return in the spring! We had a fire both nights in the firepit out front -- and hiked to the bluff to watch the sunset. The driveway was a bit steep, yes -- but our Outlander had no issues getting up and down the driveway.
-- Also, we were blown away at the amount of super neat toys that the owners had stocked in the cabin. Our 3 year old didn't even touch the toys he brought from home -- he loved playing with the vintage Little People and it brought back memories for us too!
We'll be back for sure!
We really enjoyed this cabin, however we could definitely tell it hadnt been cleaned well, or restocked with anything after the last renters left. Luckily I was able to message the owner and she gave me the code to their pantry where they kept everything. Other than that we absolutely loved the area and how secluded it felt. The amount of board games, outdoor games, and kids toys was also amazing.

Just in for a wedding.
It was a lot more rustic than we thought it would be. Never the less it was good to get away.
This cabin was clean, unique and the perfect location. We had a blast staying here! The decor is absolutely gorgeous the pictures really do not do this cabin justice. We had many laughs from playing games, enjoying a fire and most of all laughing as we were going up the steep driveway! It was definitely an experience! Stay at this cabin! It won’t disappoint!
