My husband and I had the best experience. The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending. It was so peaceful and beautiful up on the mountain. The owners were extremely kind and made sure we felt welcomed. Checkin, directions, and everything was made so simple. We felt so comfortable on our trip! This was our first visit to Vermont and when we come back, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much Tammy and Carmelo for sharing your property with us! We are grateful for your kind hospitality!
We enjoyed our stay. The drive up was beautiful, along a beautiful river and accomodations were perfect for our group. The beds were very comfortable and Tammy really thought of everything. The place was very clean and Tammy was easy to work with. The check in was simple and Tammy gave us several places to visit while we were in the area, much appreciated. Our visit was too short, and I hope to visit again. Shelly
This was my friends and I's first time staying at a rental property. Basing off of the experience that the homeowner provides for us, it will be hard for anyone else to live up to it. The owners of the property were more than welcoming to our group, and provided many amenities for our short stay. If I am ever in the area again I know where I will look to stay!
The home is very nicely furnished and quite comfortable and in a beautifully wooded and secluded setting. The hosts are quite pleasant and very accomodating. One word of warning, it is up a long and winding dirt road on Camel's Hump mountain, which at the time of our visit was under repair due to washout due to summer storms. If yu go in the winter, I'd advise snow treads and a four-wheel drive.
Great little place, cozy and welcoming, nothing fancy. A full kitchen (minus dishwasher) and washer/dryer was a plus. Good WiFi too. Windows in bedrooms are placed high, making the rooms a bit stuffy with a walk-out basement feel. The main room/mud room however brings in plenty of light and fresh air with a ceiling fan. Hosts live upstairs, which is something to note if you’re wanting full privacy and quiet (I.e., they have a cute, friendly dog) but this was not an issue for us. We found the hosts to be very helpful and responsive.
