About this property

Quiet lake vacation. Northwoods: Crivitz, Twin Bridges, and Peshtigo River area

This property has 100 feet of water frontage one hour north of Green Bay on Gilas Lake. Fish and swim from your own private dock. Enjoy use of our kayaks, paddle boat, canoe and/or older rowboat. Recreational hours are 10 am to 4 pm. Quiet, no wake hours before 10 and after 4. Play during the daytime and enjoy the quiet of the no wake hours.

This cottage, located 20 minutes from Crivitz, has 3 bedrooms. The bedroom on the main level has a queen-size bed. Upstairs, one bedroom has a queen-sized bed and down a hallway (this room has no door) are 2 twin-size beds. The cottage has one full-sized bathroom with a tub/shower, spacious living room and a 3 season porch to enjoy the scenic lake. The kitchen is complete with microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, small table, dishes, pots, pans and basic utensils. Bed linens, blankets, towels are provided. Private setting: 2 vacant wooded lake lots west of the cottage and the owner's residence on the east side. Owners are available for assistance during your stay.

Other amenities include air conditioning, washer, dryer, dock, fire pit, charcoal and gas grills, life jackets, rowboat, paddle boat, and canoe. No wifi

The cottage is available for year-round rentals.

We provide a starter pile of firewood for your initial campfire. For your convenience, additional local firewood can be purchased from us. Of course, you can bring your own firewood as well.

Relaxing Stay

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay here over a long weekend. We were sad to leave and can’t wait to book again in the future. So much provided- movies & games, life jackets & rafts, kayaks & other boats too. Everything you’d need in the kitchen. Such a lovely backyard with lots of shade and soft grass. The pier was great and the kids loved jumping into the water over and over. There is sand before the pier and the water is pretty much zero entry to perhaps 4 feet deep by the end of the pier. Not much seaweed until you get further out. You can tell this property is meticulously taken care of. Even better than the pictures show!

Family Lake Vacation

The cottage was just what our family needed. Peaceful setting on a quiet lake tucked away from the noise of daily life. The three rooms were the perfect size for our small family. Owners provided a fire pit, wood, canoe, paddles, life jackets, dishes, board games, classic DVDs, and magazines for great tips on local activities. The location was right on the lake but also close to hikes, parks, and a few waterfalls. Check in was simple, the owners promptly responded to all communications, and the cottage itself was as advertised (even better in person). We forgot some items at the cottage and the owners offered to ship them to us. Overall great location for a nice vacation. Would definitely come back for another visit and recommend to friends and family looking for a vacation in Wisconsin.

The cabin exceeded our expectations. It looks more beautiful in person. Its very cozy. The landscaping of the outdoors area is really pretty and inspiring. The cabin pretty much had everything we needed to cook. They had a wide variety of dvds, but I’d suggest bringing some more if staying for a longer time. No wifi, which was totally fine for us. The data works pretty well when I needed to check my emails or search something up. I loved the four seasons porch!! Beautiful view of the lake and trees. We came at the perfect time to experience the end of summer and beginning of fall. I cannot wait to come back!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

Fun and quiet getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our annual girls trip at this lovely cottage! This property is beautifully landscaped, clean, and well cared for. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board while here, as well as the three season room, porch and fire pit. We had lots of fun playing games at night too. It was fun to explore the area too - like the cute shops in Crivitz, as well as the nice shops in Menomonee. The owner is very kind and responsive, which is another plus!
