Enjoy the spectacular beachfront view of the Gulf of Mexico. This corner unit is on the 3rd floor and is the last condo on the beach prior to the beginning of the Gulf State Park and fishing/walking pier. This unit provides great sunset and sunrise views. Each room has windows allowing a view of the Gulf.

This condo is furnished with everything you need for a relaxing, fun vacation. It is decorated with a beach theme. There is a king-sized bed in the master bedroom with private bath and a queen-sized bed in the second bedroom. The sleeper sofa is in the living room. The kitchen is also fully equipped and the washer/dryer is in the utility room.

The property also has an outdoor pool, heated indoor pool and whirlpool hot tub and deck. Two miles of Gulf State Park beach starts next door.

Much Needed Peace

Super clean

Unit was super clean which is probably the most important thing to me. Walls and ceilings very white so I assume painted not too long ago. Furnishings rather dated but very comfortable. Nice corner unit that gives good natural light. Plus you’re at the end of Gulf Shores and can walk the beach of Gulf State Park without feeling like you’re at Coney Island.

Best Vacation Ever

Totally loved this condo! It was so close to everything and yet the beach was not crowded at all since it was the last one before the State Park. The balcony was perfect for watching the sun rise in the morning! Was impressed with how clean and neat it was! We will definitely be back!!

Best beach vacation ever!

Booking was easy. Communication with the owner was excellent. We had no problems finding the location and getting into the condo. My first impression was how clean the condo was. Exactly as depicted in the description. The location was perfect. There was construction next door but it really didn't affect us at all. We LOVED the view from our balcony (Gulf shores State Park on one side and ocean on the other). We watched dolphins swimming by almost daily. I can't say enough good things about this rental! We were equipped with everything our family of four needed. Our stay was comfortable and beautiful. We all agreed we would love to come back here again!

Gulf Shores vacation

Clean. Good location. Third floor beach view was awesome. Bed was not comfortable at all (like a rock). Tv/wifi sometimes did not work late evening. Water pressure was hit and miss. Good then only dripping in shower. Overall place was good. Would stay again if they got a new bed.

Needs an update

My family and I enjoyed our stay on the beach in a beachfront condo only due to the close proximity to the beach. Charlie was very nice and quick to address a major water leak at the kitchen sink (discovered in the afternoon of or second day) on our third day. However, I was disappointed in the 90’s style furnishings and decorations. There was not adequate seating in the living room area for more than 3 people to relax. (One recliner and one loveseat.) The small kitchen lacked enough utensils and space for a family that cooked most meals. The refrigerator had a missing support for the bottom shelf which made it unstable and would fall easily. The bath mats were dirty and had just been folded and put into the cabinets. The television in the master suite sat on a low nightstand to the side of the bed which meant that only one person could watch television comfortably, the other had to sit up or not see most of the television. The door to the balcony was very heavy and would not lock. There were rats visible from our balcony in the dunes/sea oats area on multiple days, as well as cockroaches that would come onto the balcony at night. The pool area lacked adequate seating for even the small number of people there. And the open room for beach items donated or lost had a serious roach problem. I feel like most of these problems in the condo are simply from a lack of upkeep and updates. The maintenance of the building and the pest issues also need to be addressed.

Beach Front

My sisters and I enjoyed this condo. It was very clean and had everything that was advertised. Our favorite spot was the deck. The deck was very roomy with a table and 6 chairs. We were right on the beach and could hear the ocean waves. The Owner was very nice & answered any questions we had. Highly recommend this condo.

Great Location

Perfect 3rd-storey unit. Very clean, spacious 2-bdrm unit. Nicely located on a quiet stretch of beach....Gulf Shores obviously takes pride in maintenance of the beach and also has a no-alcohol restriction on it. Charlie and Candace are super hosts!

Everything was just as described on VRBO we really enjoyed the condo and had a great time. Only issue was no extra rolls of toilet paper or paper towels and there was only one trash bag in the kitchen garbage so once we used it we had to buy our own. Dishes had to be washed before we would use them as there was eggs and food on them I don’t think it was the owners fault as part of the check process is we clean up what we use. We really did have a great time thank you!

Loved the location!

The location of this property is perfect. Far enough away from the crowd but not too far from most attractions in gulf shores and orange beach. The day guard is a very unpleasant person to put it politely. He attempted to tow our car over a complete misunderstanding. So beware of him. Someone also took our sand toys from the balcony right outside the door (to avoid taking wet and sandy toys into the condo) and put them in the free for all storage room. Luckily we were able to find them all as we had 3 kids with us. Overall it was a great trip. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect Long Weekend

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was a good size, super clean and close to the Gulf State Park Pier! Wonderful view of the ocean. We watched dolphins play in the water. I loved that you can walk to the pier. Talked to the owner for a question on his birthday, lol and he was super nice! I really hope to stay here again soon!

Great location and experience

We really enjoyed this condo. It was well equipped for making dinner and super clean. The beds were firm but comfortable. The beach service was great for chairs and umbrella. We used the indoor whirlpool and pool when we got hit by a short rain and enjoyed them. The location is excellent and close to Gulf Shores restaurants and shops. Going to Orange Beach is super easy too. Parking at the condo was plentiful. Great communication from the owners. Highly recommend Royal Palms #308.

I grew up in Fairhope in late 50s-early 60s. Now live 35 miles North of Atlanta in Woodstock.
Grew up fishing with Pop in the Gulf and love the Beach. I use to stay at the Royal Palms because it is very private with the Gulf State Park Beach right next door.
I bought Unit 308 in 2010 because I wanted too and Unit 608 in 2014 for investment

Why they chose this property

The Royal Palms IS THE BEST BEACH LOCATION IN GULF SHORES. We only have 98 units and we have more privacy than any of the other condos in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach.
