Luxury Deer Valley home -Private Hot Tub, Free Shuttle, Walk to Snow Park & Town

Aspen Wood is located in the Snow Park area of Lower Deer Valley Resort and a stone's throw to Snow Park Lodge base. The free shuttle bus stop is 15 yards from the house, with Deer Valley ski lifts approximately 1/4 mile away. Park City's Main Street is 1/2 mile away and can be reached with just a short bus ride or 10 minute walk. Park City Ski Resort is 1 mile away on free shuttle route. FREE Shuttle buses to all the resorts stop by every 7 minutes.

The layout is ideal for two families of four or three couples. There are 3 private and spacious bedrooms (2 king beds and a bunk room with 4 twins + trundle), each with ensuite bathrooms.

The house has recently been renovated and is on 3 levels with approx 2,500 sq ft of space. The upgrades include, private hot tub with mountain view, new stainless steel appliances, granite tops in kitchen and bathrooms, smart Roku TVs with Wifi in all bedrooms, large flat screen with BluRay/DVD and stereo in the living room and wireless broadband internet.

The living room has large over-sized sofas, a fireplace, vaulted ceilings, deck and wet bar.

The private outdoor hot tub is on the upper back deck with open mountain views and total privacy is perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day on the slopes. There is a gas grill on the front deck for those BBQ nights.

Other features of the house include coffee, tea, and basic condiments, a laundry with washer and dryer in the house and parking for 2 cars. Ski butler, food delivery and additional housekeeping can be made available.

Large unit in a very convenient location. The unit is quiet and the 3 level layout provided good privacy for our group. Management was responsive to issues. Only negatives are that the living room furniture could use a refresh and the place / kitchen items could have been cleaner upon arrival. However, an overall positive stay.

Wonderful Stay at a fabulous home!

The house and location are excellent!! Fully stocked with everything you need after a day of skiing and plenty of space to relax ! Very easy to get in and out of Deer valley by car or shuttle (particularly with small children!). The owner was very responsive to any questions we had and we can’t wait to go back!

We had a great time with 6 adults at the property. The space was very comfortable, the hot tub was amazing after a day on the slopes, and the shuttle to PC/Deer Valley was just steps away. Definitely would stay here again!

Great House

House was in very good shape and had great amenities. Didn’t cut corners on items like k-cups, soap, shampoo, laundry and dish detergent which made our trip very easy. It is right on bus route making it very easy for us to travel around town. Would stay here again.

Great Place Near Deer Valley

Our family of four stayed at this condo during our ski vacation at Deer Valley. The location is fantastic and it is within walking distance to Deer Valley and has a Park City bus stop right in front. Deer Valley Grocery is right across the street as well. We really enjoyed our stay at the condo and it had all that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend the place and look forward to staying at the condo again during our next ski vacation.

The property’s location was super convenient and we appreciated the spacious accommodation. We were disappointed about a few aspects of the booking: 1. The owner texted me the day of arrival to ask if we needed anything. Given the listing said “the house has its own garage,” I thought we’d be able to use it, and I asked about access. But the owner just replied “garage is locked.” No good alternative ski storage. 2. Master bathtub wouldn’t fill - my young children take baths. Owner said that he couldn’t get a plumber to come for over a week — didn’t give me the impression that he was trying too hard to help. His suggestion was that we use a different bathroom. I wasn’t interested in bathing our kids in a tub that friends were using. 3. Showers that alternated between burning you and freezing you in every bathroom. Think this was due to an old or low capacity water heaters. 4. While the living room and kitchen are nice, the bedrooms and bathrooms are tired. Particularly uncomfortable master bed. Again, the location and size of the property were positives, but the negative experiences described above mean that we’ll stay elsewhere the next time we visit.

Great location!

Easy to get to the Deer Valley base for skiing with the free shuttle. Nice neighborhoods nearby to walk. Condo comfortable. TV hard to figure out but we finally got it working (in the living room at least!). Kitchen well supplied for cooking!

Family ski vacation

Our group of 7 (two couples and three kids) had plenty of room in this well-appointed condo. The master suite is very large and spacious with a king bed, and the guest room on the main floor also has a king sized bed- so all the adults were comfortable and had privacy. And the kids loved the bunk room of course. The condo is very comfortable and well-equipped, a large and new hot tub on the deck, and the best part of all is the location! Just a minute or two away from the entrance of Snowpark Lodge which is a major bonus if you have kids in ski school which we did. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommend for families with smaller children (ours are 5 and 6). Thank you!

Christmas week family trip was perfect

We rented this property near Deer Valley over Christmas and had a wonderful week. Easy walk to Deer Valley ski resort as well as Park City. I look forward to going again soon. H

RENTERS BEWARE! UNSCRUPULPOUS PROPERTY OWNER. I am frequent Home Away renter and I have NEVER been in a situation where a property owner refused to refund my deposit until I rented this property. The property itself is adequate – the ground level bunk room is however freezing (you’ll need to run a space heater during ski season), the fireplace is a fire hazard, and the hot tub needs maintenance (head rest and such fell off and were floating around the tub). I would have happily overlooked these flaws though if upon checkout I had received my FULL deposit back. When we arrived a bit before check in (@ 1 hour early) we decided we would drop some ski equipment and groceries at the condo so we could go to lunch downtown. We had some trouble accessing the key and called the owner who was perturbed by our call. Nevertheless we got the condo open and realized that the property had not yet been cleaned (it was actually trashed – garbage everywhere – foul smell – really nasty bathrooms – etc.). When a cleaning crew had yet to show up as we were heading downtown, we called the local representative to check when the property would be cleaned. She was completely unaware that it had not been cleaned and kept apologizing and repeating that she did not know why the cleaning crew had not been there as they had told her they were going to be there before 1.30 pm (it was past 2 pm when we spoke). We headed downtown and got a text after 3 pm that the place was ready. We had a nice uneventful stay. Upon check out – we reviewed the laminated check out and instructions and followed them to the letter. We even started a load of laundry. When we returned home we were told that the property was “left in a terrible state” – “the worst state any renter has left the house” – WHAT??? It simply was not true – especially because we know for a FACT that we left the house in much better shaped then we found it! We have gone back and forth with the owner (Darren) – as we were sure there was some mistake. The checkouts must have been confused or something! But despite not being on premise and not seeing any of this with his own eyes – Darren remains steadfast in his belief and refuses to refund our full deposit. He has been unable and unwilling to provide any details on what exactly was wrong. Crazy! It’s not my style to trash businesses and business owners – but I think it’s only fair to let future renters know they should proceed renting this place with caution.

Wonderful Experience!

Excellent location, very convenient for sking both Park City and Deer Valley. Well furnished and very comfortable. This was our first rental using VRBO. Could not have been easier. Would highly reccomend!

PERFECT spot for a family with younger children!

We planned a long weekend to ski Deer Valley and were very happy with the accommodations and location to Deer Valley Lodge. For two adults, and two children this house was perfect. I could definitely see sharing this house another family if we go back again. Cooking in some nights was convenient and the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need (even take-out menus). Taking the shuttle to the ski lodge was super easy. Plus, we could just check our skis at the end of everyday and jump on the shuttle home. All the drivers were very friendly and there was never much of a wait. The homeowner was great at responding quickly to questions I had while staying there and even gave us a heads up on World Cup events we could watch. We are looking forward to hopefully going back again next year!

Cozy White Christmas

Our family of five rented condo for Christmas 2017. Snowed two of the five days. Everything was perfectly appointed. Plenty of linens and kitchen ware. We skied Deer Valley during the day, soaked in private hot tub and dined at our favorite restaurants: Flying Sumo, Ruth's Chris and Mortons Steakhouse. Owner was very pleasant and easy to deal with. Also, having private washer/dryer was awesome. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Wonderful luxury Home

This home was beautiful, cozy and warm! The furniture very comfortable. The kitchen well stocked with every dish and utensil one could need and more. The coffee and tea are a generous welcoming touch for guests like us. Everything was VERY clean and well maintained. Beds had beautiful linens and comfortable. So many little extras that make it very special to stay there including movies, books, and games which were wonderful in front of the warm cozy fireplace in the ultra comfortable family room! The hot tub was private and glorious to sit in and look at the beautiful nature all around the back yard.The owner was wonderful to deal with.....he offered so many great suggestions and inside tips that made our stay delicious and great fun! Thank you !

Great Place at a Good Price

This townhome was perfect for us. We only had 2 couples, but we had 2 king beds and they were on different levels which gave a sense of privacy. The hot tub was a huge bonus for the sore muscles after a day of skiing. As everyone has said, the distance to the shuttle is so short - I could throw a rock to it. But the townhouse is so close to Deer Valley, the guys actually walked home after a day of skiing to stretch out their legs. There is a little market directly across the street that serves delicious foods and you can pick up snacks and beer there. The owner was very helpful and responsive (this was our first rental through VRBO so we were a little clueless). Truly a great location. We would definitely rent this place again in Deer Valley.

The Perfect Ski Lodge

The location for this house was unbeatable; it was close to skiing in Deer Valley and to the tram stop for snowboarding in Park City. The house had a great kitchen for cooking and several great common areas, including the patio and hot tub, where we spent most of our evenings recovering from our ski adventures. The layout for the bedrooms was such that each room felt private and tucked away. The property manager was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond the duties of a great host. We will definitely stay here again!

We have been coming to Park City and Deer Valley for >20 years. We fell in love with the friendly local vibe, awesome snow, great food, and overall convenience. It's amazing in both summer and winter. We love to share our passion and enthusiasm with our guests!

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is by far the most convenient for accessing both town and Deer Valley base. It's a short walk to either, and it is on the Deer Valley shuttle route and the free city bus route. It's also <5 minutes away from Park City Mountain. It has the best access to any shopping, whether that be for fun or for necessities - and most importantly, it's easy to get in and out, even when the powder is coming down hard!

We love the summers there too and this neighborhood allows us to reach a myriad of trail heads within a 5 minute walk! Mountain biking is the best anywhere and has easy entry to both public trails and Deer Valley lifts.

What makes this property unique

Our property is has a friendly, homey vibe, and is appointed with fun art features that we have collected over the years.

It is well-appointed with everything you could want for the kitchen. We always have coffee, sugar, and condiments available. We know that stuff is the last thing you want to get when you're away from home.

You will love the spacious layout with large bedrooms, all with on-suite bathrooms! Our hot tub is on a private deck that overlooks the mountain. I love to relax there with a glass of my favorite beverage.
